When you close your eyes, and say that it's okay.
Willful ignorance will blind the heart,
and catch you in its snare.
It will drag you tooth and nail,
It will drag you to its lair.
It will keep you bound and blind inside,
the truth you cannot see.
The fate you once called your own,
is neither yours nor is it free.
A path of lies and nails you tread,
The truth you've cast away.
Justice will follow in your wake,
Time will make you pay.

When love breaks apart
Love's coalition has a fiend inside,
a parasite on its wing.
Servantry is not its call,
it'd rather crown itself a king.
Servitude and humbleness
are not values of its own.
The seed that love has nurtured
can now be crumbled into stone.
The love was not the lie,
but the illusions it was built on was.
This is just what happens,
when there is a divide,
between what is his and what is hers.

Sanity hung on a thread.
Sanity hung on a thread,
a yarn that's come unwound.
Instability lives at your core,
while your mind is filled with sound.
The sound of silences that deafen you
and noises that keep you still,
mix to form a melody
that learns to bend your will.
A will misshapen beyond compare,
kept in an ugly twisted guise,
will show you the folly of your actions,
the fool you've been, thinking you were wise.

Time
It slows, It flys,
It trickles, It stops.
Deathly quiet,
you hear the pins drop.
It is eternal and timeless,
it is time itself.
Surrounded by sorrow,
and happiness of wealth.
It never ends, It never dies,
even if you wanted to say goodbye.
It has no wrath, no mind of its own.
It just is, with nothing to atone.
It does not feel,
It does not speak.
It doesn't stop,
for the strong or the weak.

Frozen Despair
Frozen tears fall to the ground,
covering up this weeping sound.
Of lamenting throughout the land.
Seeping through like grains of sand.
It penertrates our very hearts,
paper thin hit with poison darts.
The darkness grows and closes in,
crying out its resounding win.
Fallen hopes and fallen dreams,
deathly cries and chilling screams.
Not a single soul is spared the pain,
We only wait for the Winter's wane.

Hope will keep you waiting, but hope will see you through.
If even trees and air can see you cry,
and see the value of your tears,
What more of a breathing person,
who is counting all your fears.
If even stars and dust aim to make you smile
in the darkest of your days,
What more of a kindred spirit,
who is looking out for you in all ways?
If even leaves and stone would hold you close
and never let you go,
What more of a fated being,
whose name you do not yet know?

Is Pain A Memory, Is Pain A Friend?
Is pain a memory, is a friend?
Is this pain real, is it just pretend?
Is it a hurt I've lost, or a hurt yet found?
Is it just inside, or all around?
Is it a game, that I've already lost?
Is it the price I pay instead, is it the cost?
Is it a reminder of what not to do and why?
Is it the voice that tells me I shouldn't try?
Is it to hinder or to lend a helping hand?
Is it the reason why my heart won't mend?

Childhood Memories
Rays of light flow through the glass,
Flittering memories of the past.
Of happy times and playful things,
like a baby bird spreading its wings.
Flying through the sunlit air,
without worries without cares.
Its simple nature so soft and calm,
Beckons everyone like a charm.
A little fox running through the trees,
fields of flowers and their bees.
So close to heart and yet so far,
A child's life is like a shining star.

What is Art
Art is a blast,
free from the worries of the past.
Splashes of colour, dashes of white,
making the night feel so light and so bright.
Hues of blue,
the palest of pinks,
forgeting your worries
in the time of a blink.
Unbound by chains,
not frought by laws,
Art is something
to love and adore.
Hate it or love it,
it's your choice alone.
One man's trash,
is another man's gold.
Art is like a story,

Repentance
I know I turned
my back on you,
that I don't deny.
But then you gave up all hope,
without even a try.
Now i see the wrong i did,
and yet i can't erase it.
I can only try my best,
to stand up and really face it.
But then you too
have a part to play,
in this fault we let leak.
For even though I started it,
you let your mind freak.
You put up a wall,
a mask to hide your face.
Hid your emotions,
