Queenling
The silver crown glitters,
the encrusted gems glow.
A symbol of the maiden,
great power does it know.

You are not prisoner.
Faith and hatred, love and scorn.
Things we fear, things we mourn.
Time and place are memory's key,
but your mind's prisoner is not who you're meant to be.

Hidden
So dazzling and bright,
yet in the gloom.
Just like a flower,
just waiting to bloom.
Nothing is perfect,
it never seems to be.
Yet in the darkest of wars,
there is much to set free.

We Will Rise Again
Like fallen stars we will rise again, to claim what was once ours.
It may seem that all is lost, but wait, look behind the doors of light and truth for the memory of me.
-my ten year old self.

The Book
Ripening of old age,
Yellowing faded words.
Unseen by friends for centuries,
Friends and foes alike.
Knowledge to be known,
Seeds of wisdom sown.
It waits by a wall in darkness,
waiting for an heir.

Impressions lie
Confidence, a shell,
the pigment you see.
Confidence, the lie,
all, but me.
Doubts and fears,
churning inside.
Hurt and anger,
things I hide.
Persona a facade,
a game of pretense.
Persona the wall,
a wall immense.

The inward pleas we all hold.
Someone needs to hold my hand
and tell me it's okay.
Someone needs to warm my heart
and brighten up my day.
Someone needs to hold me close
and chase away my blues.
Someone needs to do it fast,
I'll even leave you clues.

Seperation to come
Under the weeping willow we sit,
gazing at the stars.
Mourning the pass of fall,
to the approching winter solice.
May we remain one,
no matter the distance between.
Clasping hands we say a payer,
falling into slumber of the night.

Definition of Power
They say the sword is mighty,
but to the pen it cannot compare.
For though the sword can fight,
it only ends in mindless despair.
The pen is different however,
for within it holds the power.
The greatest power ever known,
To instill inspiration sown.

Magic Fadings
The dawn of a new age approches,
the light of the old era fades.
Ways of the old are now forsaken,
like the pass of the elven glades.
There is no place for magic,
for magic there is no hope.
Books are its last remenance,
for no where else can it cope.
