Jude - The Dude
With smile as a hallmark
and nonchalance in his stride
Humility a trait he wields
with not an iota of vain pride
A personification of
an ideal husband and a doting dad
The one ready to forfeit own pleasures
than see anyone sad
In his ubiquitous bag he clutcs
the pills for all ails he stows

End when one thinks is nearing
there's yet another side
Time plays the catalyst
for the circumstances to coincide
With clouded the rationale,
the sense good is often bemused
Instinct becomes one's medium

My Father In Me
Fleeting look at my own reflection,
I caught a familiar sight
It seemed it were my father
with his whiskers grayish white
Chord it did touch,
a sort of a connection long since lost
Urging me to accept reality
and fittingly present accost
The void though insurmountable,
his absence will forever upset
The pangs of loss will linger on

Induced I were to witness,
a congregation of a peculiar type
The one with pompous fanfare
with coordinated sort of a hype
The purpose seemed structured
for testing a newer ground
To suss the local gullibility
and own beliefs on them propound

The Wandering Fado
Soft music proffering backdropp
in a tongue peculiarly diverse
It were some sort of a ballad
with the words woven in verse
Couldn't grasp that was projected,
just felt the sense profound

Lest it gets forgotten
I too have a ticking heart

Coerced sort of subsistence
where your soul doesn't belong
The right that was in earnest
with time has gone awfully wrong

It weren't deep slumber or
the state of utter wakefulness
Trance if it were or realism,

I may have few irritant nuances
