The African Drum
The dancers are scattered
each, having his own tune
while the wind blows and howls
each stepping the other way
while the storms rush in sway
The leaders have their palaces
where they sip red wine and eat red meat
The soldiers have their battle fields
where their guns speak for them
But the African drum calls!
come all, come home
love awaits at the Saharan shores
Faith leads through the dark forests
purity flows along the nile river

Fading Tunes
i keep singing the same song
for the low pitch but the tune so long
i cling on to the whirling wind
never mind life at it's own speed
After all;
History buries no heroes
Age admits no zeroes
the dead are only weighty kilos
Nevertheless...
our time always comes
surely our prides always hurls
yet our wickedness ever curls
After all, We are just human

I send you my letter
you who reads hearts better
to tell you how life is turning sour
and that my sorrows are more

Nation Against Nation
Listen to the rage of nations
Anger spilling through the barrel of the gun
Hear, the wrath of leaders
Ending in bloodshed and sorrow
They take their pride to the battle ground
And they shoot humility out of the world
They invest wisdom into doom
And in the end, we solve folly.
They bury their heroes with respect
Followed by the sound of riffles
As if this is all there is.
But; when pride rises against pride
And nation against nation,

The doors are closed
and the heat is rising
Flesh is scotching

She would be drawn to me
if i had the scent of wealth.
But for this stench of poverty
that gets her hand onto her nose
and she keeps away
her fragile heart
She would be attracted to me
if i had the bloom of beauty
and not this dull complexion
that would haunt her childish dreams

The Tale Of Heroes
He who has seen no fangs,
has seen no python.
He who has sailed no storms,
has harbored on no ocean
He who has swallowed no dust,
has bore no great fall
He who has felt no sharp claws,
has never met a lion.
He who has not seen darkness,
has not battled temptation.
He who has not been naked
has not felt the sting of cold
The world has more than fate,
the horror of our dreams.

Our Fate
We hastily make steps forward
Into the darkness of uncertainty.
We slowly embrace reality
Without a care of what tomorrow holds
And, this is our fate
The rich sleeps late,
The poor wakes up early,
To trade away what the rich search for.
Heights to depth, depth to heights

Blind wanderers,
In a vacuumed wilderness

There's a lady in his room screaming
and this is the night of healing
where passion is the king of the setting
There's a bone in his flesh screeching
and that is the name of the soul fading
But i'll ask you...
do you see the sky falling
whenever you think you are flying
do you hear the music fading
whenever your passion is calling
Don't cheat life just like that
