Angry Ghosts

They were here
just hovering over the court yard
the victims of the loose ribbon of justice
whose hearts were dropped
and their eternal right robbed
the souls who were sent to 'hell'

They came over here
just whimpering in low, short cries
the fallen heroes of war
whose minds were cooked by pride
the limping spirits of battle
whose conscience was shot by anger
and, their remains locked into a lonely room

They passed by
just the same begging hands
the beauty owned by the streets
whose fate was sealed by incapacity
the flower's bloom in winter

Last Night

It was all dark:
not that i expected light at night,
the sound of a lingering silence,
echoes reverberating from without,
last night is gone!

When i could see no more,
than the darkness of evil.
When i could hear no more,
than the sounds of the devils laughter
last night is gone

Upon the rock, i watered my plant.
On dry pastures, i cast my seed.
Unto the swine, i gave out my pearl
and all in vain that i toiled.
for it was all dark last night.

In the darkness of night, i am captived
by the light of dawn, i am freed.

No Fears

some times you think you have found the right person
when actually some one is just fugiting with their many options
sometime we think we are a priority in people's lives
when we are actually the best gamble they've put up with.

politicians call us the electorate, ready for a ride
priests/prophets call us the laity, craving for God's mercy
merchants call us customers, for just some little cheating
lovers call us their better halves...the shadows they can drag along

But at least, the sun shines for us with cold hearts
the ones who never enjoy the warmth of pretense
Thank God, the moon always guides we, the pessimists
the ones who hold love sacred, but never take it for granted

When the fire extinguishes, we curdle in reality
our true identity never frightens us
When the doors are shut, we simply move on
our real enemies don't scare us...NO FEARS

Home

we have Convents, Churches, and Clubs...
Convents for the closed hearts, Churches for the open hearts and, Clubs for the lost hearts.

We have streets, sties, and stairs...
Streets for the vagabond, sties for the prodigal, stairs for the wanderer.

We have Heavens, Hades, and Halls...
Heavens for the saints, Hades for the evil and Halls for the living

We have Pains, Pleasures, and Picnics...
Pains for the unlucky, pleasures for the well placed and picnics for the tender hearts

We have Love, Lust, and Leisure...
Love for the immortal, Lust for the simple and Leisure for the mortal.

So don't weep sweet heart...You surely belong. The doors will open and you will rest a night;
not in the cave of sweet dreams but on the paths of bitter but interesting realities.

And, you'll be home. Home, in the heights of joy, home in the sea of trouble...home at last.

The World Unreal

I see an Angel,
Dressed in rags, buried in tears.
He builds a home, on the solitary shores
Feeding on sorrow and sipping from a cup of passion
And that is the world unreal

History in tatters, the future in darkness
Only a breeze to cool the world
Burning with injustice, fading in corruption
To bare the curses of our ancestors
In the world unreal

The light of despair lingers
Upon the seed of imperfection
That humanity plants in pride.
And reap from in ignorance
Yet faith decides the end
Of the world unreal

Men sing hymns of lust,

What Matters

At the beginning of it all, we felt happy for our own good, sad for our own sake...
so; presumptuous people don't recognize us for our own good, useful people take note of us, still for our own sake...

We cry to those who love us, for our own comfort, we smile to those who hate us for our own security
so our humble moments are only seen by our loved ones, and our bravery stunts known by those who don't even care

When we are frightened, we remember our security in God, when we are lost, we claim it onto whom it may concern-our guardian angel
So, we seem not shaken but we too get beaten-at times even weep womanly, we always look bright but we have dark spots- corners that need healing

I LOVE YOU, PLEASE ALWAYS BE CLOSE WHEN MY SPIRIT IS SCATTERED...GATHER MY HUMAN WEAKNESSES THEN, AND ILL KNOW I BELONG.
NOT TO THE PRINCELY LINEAGE, BUT STILL I BELONG; NOT TO THE SAINTLY CLAN BUT I BELONG SOMEWHERE....WHERE GOD KNOWS CAN FIND ME!

Remember Me

Remember me!
when i become a friend to loneliness
and in the darkness am cast.
then-my only companion is trouble,
when all that is good is gone.

Remember me!
when my name is erased from the earth
and dust swallows my flesh,
when the grave owns my remains
and the vanities of life flee away
remember the youth of my life.

Remember me!
when the sickness of the mind swallows my reasoning
and my decisions are contaminated
when the cancer of sin breaks my conscience.
and my body turns into a dome of darkness
remember to shine the light of salvation

Petty 'Things

so you want my first dollar
because you say ill then see you naked
but ill tell you, it's not been easy
gathering crap and puling at weeds
braving the rains and swallowing sun rays
with a hooded sweater to chase away the cold
and with a bottle of water to soak the scotching rays
your body might be all treasure and glory but NO!

so you want me crawling in the mud
because you say i hurt you
but ill tell you, I've got manhood beneath
once jailed, twice broken but forever standing
i have been behind brave bars but didn't flinch
i've stood besides the mighty grave but i still smile
I might have broken your heart, destroyed your soul...
but i also have a life and a God to please so i say NO!

While we sulk over broken hearts, in failed relationships
a mammoth are nursing woulds, in burning battlefields
