Why We Write
It all comes from the heart
And the enlightening of the mind
Composing lines of art
Under mysteries of the kind...
It may be a relief from grief
It always is an act of discovery
Even though it may be brief
Every word speaks eternity!
In the realms of writing
Life journeys face mysteries
Of love, faith, true living
In an eternal cycle of discoveries!

A Gesture of Love
From dawn till dusk
They are compliant
With every principle and task.
They are humble, obedient,
Sustaining the whole Being
Through prayers so divine
Accompanied by fasting
Due to break at sunset time.
O Lord, how they love YOU
And recognise Your Mercy,
Your Grace, too.
May You grant them all
Much strength, joy, peace
To follow such Light in bliss!

Sweet Harmony
There is no wind blowing
The tree stands green, serene.
It enjoys the bird's singing
And wonders: 'What does it mean? '
Blessed by this soft rain
Both the bird and the tree
Keep singing tunes again
Flooding the earth with glee!
The bird's chants soar above the tree
This one feels nurtured by them
Its leaves dancing onto the sea
Where the bird goes and treasures them!

Tears of Solace
Oh, tears come and hardly go...
As if heavily pushed by winds blow.
Like a fountain quenching those thirsty
Who need it whenever weary
They' re flowing for solace
At a time of a different bliss.
Oh, Supreme, be the Guardian
And Protector of our esteem!
It's unknown our fate
But we'll always thank You
And we'll believe
You are blessing us
Till Heaven's gate!

Seize The Day
Seize the day
In a dignified
Lovely way.
Admire the beauty
Of it, accomplishing your duty.
Taste every moment,
Be thankful, and bear any torment.
At any encounter with sorrow
Or even a tragedy,
Do not lose hope for...
HE is there for Thee.
Be confident, trust yourself,
Share with others, be helpful,
Keep struggling for...

World Prayer
Before disappointments, suffering and sorrow
May we be strong in faith
And generous in love.
Let us sing the chant 'Magnificat'

Be guided by God

This is your Time
If time flies,
you should learn
from the cries...
You should think thoughtfully
and act more wisely
to boost your daily commitment
in favour of others
who lack any achievement.
If time flies,
you should be more optimistic,
trying to be realistic.
On addressing major issues
you should be honest, fair
'cause in the world
it has been so rare,
and for others you should care!

É ter e não ter
É alegria e dor
Em cada dia desde o amanhecer.
É lidar, actuar, recordar,
É saber desculpar, é amar.
É o tempo a rodar
Em cada momento um despertar
É vida que se respeita
É este complexo caminhar
É obra que sempre espreita.
É a luz divina que ilumina
É força de alma que nos anima
É aceitar e querer entender
