The Cat Tale
nd much to my surprise-A gray cay looked up at me-With teardrops in it's eyes-It said I'm very hungry-So I gave it dinner that day-Even though I knew darn well-That cat had come to stay.

Lemonade
All I want for breakfast-Each and every day-Is one tall glass of lemonade-To start me on my day-(verse #2) -When lunchtime rolls around-My energy's getting low-One tall glass of lemonade -Will keep me on the go (verse#3) When I sit down for dinner-I have no appetite-But one tall glass of lemonade-Will start my evening right.

No Can Do
You left me here alone-For someone new-You want me to take you back-No Can Do-No Can Do-No Can Do-I'll never take you back-No Can Do-You sent me some roses-Along with a note-Saying please take me back-Were the words that you wrote-When you walked out on me-I shed lots of tears-I would not take you back-Not in a million years.

Come Back To Me
The sun won't shine-The flowers won't bloom-Your presence would brighten-This gloomy room-Come back to me-And mend my heart-I'm so sad and blue-Since we are apart-You found another-And went far away-So often I dreamed-You'd come back some day-I heard from a friend-Your love proved untrue-And you wished thae we-Could start life anew.

My New Job
After I retired from the factory-I planned to be a couch potato-But soon my plans were changed-By my dear wife Evelyn Ada-She tied an apron on me-Though it was against my wishes-She pointed to the kitchen-And said go wash the dishes-She said I cook and clean-I've got enough to do-And now the dishwashing job-Has been assigned to you.

Beulah Brown
The prettiest girl that ever was born-Lives in a nearby town-Traffic stops when she goes by-Her name is Beulah Brown-Her hair is a golden yellow-Her skin has a pearly glow-Every guy that she has met-Wants to be her beau-Many boys asked her for a date-And she answered no each time-Mom won't allow me to date anyone-'Til I reach age twenty-nine.

Mama Told Me
Mama told me not to go dancing-She said itwas a sin no doubt-Sometimes I went out dancing-Mama never did find out-Mama told me not to wear make-up-She said just be as you are-But I couldn't deal with that-That was really going too far I liked high-heeled shoes-I thought they were so neat-Mama said don't wear high-heeled shoes-They'll just ruin your feet.

So Long Louie
I ignored my suspicions-That you were running around-I now have opened my eyes-And I am leaving town-So long Louie-It's time for me to go-I don't have to give you a reason-You already know-I couldn't believe my eyes-When I drove by the Bar-And you came out with her-And got into her car-I knew we'd have a row-If you came into my sight-That's why I'm leaving now-Before you come home tonight.

Forever Living in Paradise
Our troubles will all be over-When we reach heaven's shore-Grief and pain and sorrow-Will be endured no more-Someday I hope to enter the pearly gates-In heaven above the starry skies-Oh what a wonderful life-Forever living in Paradise-If I don't change my ways-And turn away from sin-When I reach the land of Paradise-I can never ever enter in-Forever living in Paradise-Is the ultimate goal to achieve-The beauty of that wonderful place-Is awesome beyond belief.

I Won't Take You Back Again
There's only so much I can take-Of your lying and running around-I'm packing up my bags-Tomorrow I'll be leaving town-I won't take you back again-It's over now we are through-You've cheated too many times-I can't live again with you-I forgave you for cheating twice-You've caused me so much pain-There's not the slightest chance- I'll forgive you once again-I never want to see you again-I wish we'd never met-We'll go our seperate ways-In time we'll both forget.
