NATURE
Grass is green; on it falls the sun-shine.
The peasant on the field with a plough looks thin.
The paddy plants look beautiful and green,
Goats graze in the field; they are nine.
A stream flows down with a muttering sound,
Attracts poets as drunkards to wine!
The mountain is bald but still looks beautiful;
The river water’s sound is tuneful.
Moon-beams kiss the paddy plant,
Fulfilling the desire of peasants and their wants.
God’s nature is mysteriously beautiful,
Deriving pleasure from it, farmers become dutiful.

Mother’s Lap Vavroovahana Patra

Mother Mangala is Deity;
Penetrates rays of Gaiety.
Is an Ocean of Delight;
Evaporates life’s plight.

Mother shows the right path;
Is a Brook of mirth.
Tranquilises the devotee;
Is the Almighty.

Fragrance of Shrine Kisses the devotees;
Devotees dance with delight.
Cuckoo sings delightfully;
Sun ray kisses the shrine gaily.

Mother’s altar is a brook of nectar;
Devotees drink, content their desire.
Devotees smile gaily;
Children play delightfully.

Deity Mother Vavroovahana Patra

Mother Mangala shows the right path;
Is the light of Earth.
Makes us healthy, wealthy;
With Divine Desire we be love worthy.

Life passes peacefully;
With heavenly Desire we live gaily.
Difficult problems are solved easily;
Chant hymns devotionally.

Mother’s light of love pervades in all creatures;
Fulfills our desires.
I surrender on the cosy feet;
She is a Brook of Delight.

Mother is our love affection;
Is the Deity of creation.
Pray her day and night;
She is an Ocean of Delight.

Nocturnal Nightingale Vavroovahana patra

Fogs swim in the cloudy dark sky;
Moon beam falls on it as a night spy.
The mist dazzles, blooms, beautifies with rosy cosy kiss of beam;
Haze shines as wavy vapour, tranquil transparent serene solitary water of a stream.

Misty waves passes through the air;
Early waves passes through sea's water.
She roams covers the boughs, leaves, buds, foliage;
As if the green waves covers the sea-shine to mileage.

Moon beholds her face on the mirror of nocturn's blossomy dew;
From the millions the allures very few.
Nocturnal Nightingale is an eternal bliss of Nature.
Create a Brook of amusement in the tiny creature.

DEITY OF DEITIES
VAVROO VAHANA PATRA
Mother Mahamaya Devee Durga
Appears on Earth on Saptamee day Of Autumn
Beauteous is that dawn.
Devotees chant the Mother’s name
delightfully and prostrate at Her feet.
Children play with delight;
Devotees assemble before the altar,
under the Sun God’s cosy light.
The Mother listens to the pleas
of all, and satisfies their desires.
Poets too chant Mother’s name
with devotion and depict her great beauty.
The mother is the Deity of Deities, Supreme.
The Mother’s heart is soft and cosy,
She comes to shower love and affection
on all Devotees seeking her protection.

Silence reign sat night;
All creatures rest with delight.
Poet’s pen poems delightfully;
All derive mental peace gaily.

Night is freed from worries, anxieties;
Men, women rest with delight.

Pray goddess gleefully.

Night’s lap is silent;
People derive peace, merriment.

Vavroovahana Patra
Mother Mahalaxmi attracts the chaste women, goldy devotees;
She provides rays of delight.
Her shrine smiles in the lap of Nature;
Endowed with fragrant lotus Mother contents real devotee’s desire.

Mother’s temple dazzles with various coloured lights;
Her shrine is a perennial brook of delight.
Mother’s temple dazzles beneath the blue sky;
In real devotees mother penetrates rays of gay.

Sanctity, purity, tranquillity pervades in the air;
Mother fulfils poets’, devotees’, innocent chaste poor women’s desire

Spring

Spring appears with yellow mango blossoms everywhere;
Bay-leaf trees with tiny silvery blossoms bear.
Cuckoos melody from mango groves reverberates in the sky;
Poets become enthused with peace and inspiration high.
Tiny birds twittering in the sky fill the poet’s minds with ease;
Green leaves dance with the mild vernal breeze.
Fragrant yellow blossoms invite the bees for a kiss;
For these honey-seekers, its nature given bliss.
Sun rays falling on earth make it alluringly rosy;
The rays make the earth-dwellers warm and cosy.
The wavy streams flow down with a melodious muttering;
The green forest all around is most enchanting.
