Bad Poem Daze

Sleep walking towards

Another narcoleptic day

Given free change

For free coffee

To stay awake

On time for life

But out of step

On time for life

But out of step

The rhythm

Matter

Where is the fact from the ficition?

The fiction from the fact?

Does it matter if I exact, my P's and Q's?

Does it matter that?

Tomorrow I may tell you I love you

And then talk about that,

And how the weather decides to hate you

And me, now that's a fact!

Who cares if tongues that are free to silence

Talk violence?

The Woman With Too Many Teeth

The woman with too many teeth was accused of 'smiling too much'

In the office, on the phone

Even when she was on her own [as seen by cctv! ]

The woman with too many teeth would always hesitate and was

Losing weight,

And some got a hunch, that she could not eat her lunch

The woman with too many teeth could barely talk

She also had a funny walk

Due in part to her heavy jaw

She kept her head to the floor

Bunny Is Missin

Bunny is missing

She is out to feed her flock

To save her kittens

But she aint young anymore

And love aint what she's lookin for

A warm bed and a light

Some where to sleep at night

But bunny has been missing too long

After her first trip

The light flickered

A monologue on 'nothing in particular

Well you know,

It always begins like this

'The day starts'

Half an hour early for me

Clocks set hour an hour early

The day begins

Well morning starts

With a break of sunlight

Flooding through the cracks

In the blinds

Luggage

my luggage

A list of identifiable items,

After the long haul

The journey is a year, an hour, a day a month,

In a minute things will change!

That's what we all say

Hope for, something?

Nobody Sings

Nobody sings.........

And goes largely unnoticed in a crowd

He doesn't crave affection, attention

Fame or celebrity

He is proud of his roots, of being 'a nobody'

It means he is free

To live simply

quietly and be,

Himself

Most importantly

Forgetting YOU

Forgetting you, was not easy

It kept me up all night

And I was trying to write a list

Of easy to forget things

Your nose was too big to forget

It often got stuck in the door

Or got mistaken for a clothes hook

Your eyes were the size of two small currants

Your face as white and as plump as a bun

Your lips slid sideways like a slit in paper

The song of a pathological liar

I am four foot three ....not really

I am a vegetarian pacifist

Not really

I am a capricorn

Not really

I don't believe in the 'stars'

I was born on a mars bar

I feel only with my hands

Not really, , , , very well

I am from a large cable tossing clan

Song Of The Egg

One sunny morning in late june
I heard a strange and mournful tune
I looked around the empty room
And stood awhile feeling bemused
A strange hallucination came
Was it a dimming in the brain?
But louder still the cries were coming
Like a distant droning humming
And then I saw the egg box open
Inside a weeping egg was broken
'oh take me to the boiling pot, or fry me quick, or scramble me,
come quick and cook me, set me free!
The unbroken eggs were strangely silent
Being advocates of violence
Rounded on the broken egg
'Oh take him quick and smash his head! '
Unable to fulfil his wish
The portly consumer changed his dish
Leaving the eggs inside the box
He had some fish
