That you wouldn't trade them for any treasure

Shall We Dance?
The music played softly
The dim light created an ambiance
In the cool, breezy night of December
Balls and balloons
In varying sizes and colours
Sparkling fireflies
Filled the small wooden cottage
Outside, the raging splash of the ocean waves
coming back and forth
The bright moonlight in its full size
Circled the whole place
A silhouette embracing the cold sea
Dancing in rhythm, eyes locked together
Two people very much in love whispered nothing

I Will Follow You
While teaching the nuns in the convent some songs for this Lenten Season, I couldn't help but reflect my life journey, and I was inspired to write an inspirational post, how happy and how fulfilled and complete I am when I am with them.

A Prayer For Healing
Heavenly Father,
I call on you right now in a special way
It is through your power that i was created
Every breath I take, every morning i wake
And every moment of every hour
I live under your power
Father, i ask you now
To touch me with that same power
For if you created me from nothing
You can certainly recreate me
Fill me with the healing power of your spirit
Cast out anything that should not be in me
Mend what is broken
Root out any unproductive cells
Open any blocked arteries or veins
And rebuild any damaged areas

You walked as fast as you could
Bringing with you some food to partake
Life is difficult, you have to make do
With the provisions the nuns have provided
For you and your husband to keep afloat each day
Keeping him company
Dependent, relying upon him
Feeling alone, lonely and neglected
Never the love and affection you expected
For many years your hidden heart embedded
He comfortably provided you
With a home you call your own
Tried working night and day

Standing in an open field
Drenched by the rain with only a cap to shield
My whole body shivered, remembering the past
A vivid encounter, hopefully will not last
Saying goodbye was very hard to do

Who did her best, to look her best
Whose love abounds, unconditional, endless

The Ferris Wheel Of Life

We're going to ride the Ferris Wheel of Life
And when it gets to the top,
We'll review each of the blessings we've received.
They never seem to stop!
Round and round we go
never stopping, never wondering
our life's struggle has it's beginning
it will always have it's ending
Along our way we've found laughter,
love and happiness, freely given by
Earth Angels we call 'Friends.' -
