Things I Like About Her

Her hair smells like Roses
I get lost in her hair
Her eyes are like eyes on an Angel
So peaceful.

Her body makes me speechless
I can’t stop staring.
Her voice is so sweet
I could listen for days.
I wish I could spend every minute with her.

You are my Mother,
My Mentor
My Maker
You taught me how to be nice

To read
To write.
You taught me how to pick up after myself
Believe in myself.

You showed me your mistakes
So I could be a better person.
You taught me to believe in Jesus.
You are my MOM

Fire and Ice: love

the fire got me
it wont let me go
I'm all over the place
it still won't let me go

I dive into ice water
I am trying everything
but nothing seems to work
i am so cold and on fire

how could this be
maybe it's not
that i am on fire
but that i am ice cold

I see life
in slow motion
while I Am on the floor
waiting to expire
