Vernal Deity

In spring mother endowed with the garlands of red china roses
Attracts the chaste women.
Innocent devotees to distribute love and affection;
In the vernal morn, beauteous looks mother’s vast creation.
Mother Bhandara Gharanee’s sweet lovely shrine attracts the
Distant devotees for purification;
Attracts poets, scientists to bless with sweet invention.
In kaliyuga, o devotees! Chant the sweet name of mother
With profound love and delight;
Mother is the deity of deities, almighty, a sweet stream of gaiety.
Mother Mahamaya evaporates feat;
With profound love she contents all devotees’ desire.
Mother’s shrine pervades eternal peace;
She is an ocean of divine bliss.
Mother loves all innocent creatures;
She contents their desires.

Woman is a Ganga on Earth;
Is a rivulet of mirth.
Ganga mingles with Ocean enthusiastically;
Derives salvation delightfully.

Husband’s kiss, embracement is woman’s delight;
With peace she surrenders on the feet of Almighty.
The sweet souls derive peace and pleasure;

Women devotees proceed towards Lord Jagannath with profound pleasure
Bhagavana Jagannath satisfies dedicated, honest devotees’ desire
Bhagavana Jagannath, Sister Subhadra, Brother Valabhadra
Attract crowds of devotees at eve as well as morn:
Beautiful looks each of November’s early dawn.
Deepas illuminate Bhagavana Jagannath’s temple-shrine;
Devotees drink the nectar of love as drunkards drink wine.
Fragrance of Jasmines pervades the whole environment.
In devotees are roused waves of devotion and merriment.
On Mother Mahalaxmee’s serene, sanctified, solitary shrine
The Sun-God showers bright rays or sunlight and sunshine.
Devotees fall at the holy feet of Mahalaxmee the Mother;
With wealth and prosperity the Mother blesses the Bhaktas.

God Shiva is the Supreme power;

Beauteous is the forest;
In summer provides oxygen.
Tranquilises creatures minds, provides peace, merriment.
The forest is beautiful, mother’s shrine smiles in the forest, devotees
are delightful.

Beneath the trees shade passers-by rest a while, chilly breeze kisses

Passers-by enchant peacefully.
