Vavroovahana Patra

Divine Shrine Vavroovahana Patra

On the shrine ye stand with a flute in the afternoon;
With an innocent heart, with a garland of blossoms I pray for the boon.
Oh, loving dear, I be mentally clear, serene and pure to get your bliss;
In the mom and eve, in dawn and dusk I come and go cherish a little peace.

The shrine is pure with the aroma of flower;
The abode illuminates with the fire, vibrates in eve's prayer.
Perfumed with sandal's glamorous odour;
The devotees reach with light to adore.

I come to thee with fragrant flower;
How pleasantly you are desirous and fair.
To-day, returning back with empty hand from your bosom;
Tomorrow, I would not be back, receiving the garland of bliss that blossom.

O Bee!

O BEE!
VAVROO VAHANA PATRA
O Bee! How beautifully you build your honey-comb!
But greedy men, for the sake of honey, demolish your home!
With what intensive industry you store your honey!
But cruel human beings steal and sell it to earn money!
You save your honey to be used by your kith in future;
But, very sadly it becomes prey to human desire.
Your sweet honey is gone; your lovely home is gone!
How ugly looks the tree and the vernal morn!
People, too, save money for their future generation;
But thieves and dacoits snatch it and make it their own possession.
Thus, one mortal’s savings are plundered by another;
But “ Ill got, ill spent” it the law of even nature.

Cuckoo’s Melody Vavroovahana Patra

Cuckoo’s sweet melody echoes in profound solitude, reverberates in silent atmosphere;
The sweet tune vibrates in the environment, contents poet’s desire.
Fragrance of mango-blossoms pervades through the vernal breeze;
Poet enchants in the lap of Nature being crazy.

Divinity reigns through the melody on Earth;
Earthy creatures rejoice with mirth.
Poet surrenders on the feet of mother Vinapanee, the Deity;
Depicts beauteous verses with gaiety.

Through the vernal breeze goddess mother Basantee blessth all innocent honest creatures;
Penetrating rays of wisdom contents their desires.
Cuckoo’s marvelous melody brings inspiration;
Beauteous is goddess mother’s creation.

He is an Ocean of mirth.
Bhagvana Neel Madhav is the vause of human birth:
With His Desire Creauteous looks the Earth.

Lord Jagannatha Brother Valabhadra, Sister Subhadra smile on the altar:
They content the desire of all creatures.
Purussottamadhama smiles with Deities:
Bhagavan attracts devotees day and night.

Beautiful looks the sanctified shrine:
Devotees drink the nectar of love as drunkards to wine.
Bhaktas offer Deepas's light in the morn:

Evening

Beautiful looks the western horizon;
Cinnabar adorns part of God’s creation.
Countless clouds framed in violet colour!
Magnificent looks all creation of the creator!

God-like, the vast red sun rests in the lap of Nature;
The Earth congratulates evening for providing rest to all creatures.
Some birds are coming to rest on banyan tree;
While some, in the sky are still flying free.

With much merriment they fly in the firmament
Feeling the minds of guys and girls with amusement.
Beautiful looks the whole town of Nabarangpur;
Our minds are enchanted and filled with thoughts pure.

Thy creature is endowed with peerless beauty and wonder;
O Lord! At thy feet in awe I surrender.
THANK YOU
