It Was July
I am resurrected, after dying for want of you,
It all came down upon me in sunny July,
Where had you gone, I wish I knew,
That I care no more, should come as no surprise,
I can live without you now,
It's like I never loved you at all,
The numbness seeped in after my death,
It was in July, if you recall,
Things were fine in May and June,
I don't know what I did wrong,
But in July you sang a different tune,
And you left me all alone,
My heart once again belongs to me,
As I look back to last July,
The sunshine once again I see,
No tears to cloud my eyes,

Remaining Recording Time
Remaining recording time, three minutes,
That gives them plenty of time,
To call and say there's been a mistake,
And ease my troubled mind,
My heart goes out to the family,
Who'll recieve the shoes and purse,
That looked just like my daughter's,
But I am so sure they are
not hers,
Leave a message if I can't get to the phone,
From this nightmare I want to awaken,
It could not have been my daughter found,
In that lonely area so God forsaken,
For I feel she's on her way here now,
To throw the football with her son,
With her suitcase of toys for the baby,
She'll be tired when this day is done,

Not The River In Between
The Mighty Mississippi runs between you and me,
There is some unwritten law, the other side I never see,
Like a damsel locked away in a lonely tower,
On my side the river, I counted the hours,
At least that's how it has been for years,
Raised the river crying all those tears,
Like the river love has two sides,
There were things you wanted to hide,
Just left to wonder, I could barely ask,
You letting me know became such a task,
Any plans I braved inquiring of you,
Sent you running off with a job to do,
Parishes of Assumption and Ascension,
Keeping us apart, not the river's intention,
It has always been you who kept us apart,
Always you breaking my heart,

Fooling The Boys
Shhh, the boys think I'm in the tub,
Here I am again, doing what I love,
If they catch me they gonna fuss,
Momo spend some time with us,
Hehe....they didn't used have time for me,
The tables DO turn you see,
Before I stumbled onto this site,
I was alone most every night,
Now they notice Mama missing,
Who's butt now may need kissing?
I have to sneak to lose them now,
Serves em right anyhow,
Its funny to me NOW they know,
How they really need to show,
That they want my time and company,
Things will be better than they used to be,
