I Go Dream Fishing
Little girls sleeps,
sleeps in a piano.
With every stir a note is hit,
and every dream a piece of music.
She plays mozart in her nightmares,
her mother, her mother, her mother, her mother.

Buddy Holly's Winter Dance Party
You're looking good in your powderblue suit,
I got on my heels and my malt liquer flute.
And the sitter has put the young ones to bed,
And I'll just say goodnight put a kiss on their heads,
Now, our phone number's are taped to the television set,
we'll be back around midnight, and there's food don't forget.

A Smile Across The Classroom
In hour when tallest trees did choke
within the battered sparrow's nest
lost and found belongings and lies as company
away from the circus's cruel laughter
leering and pointing at bearded men
or else, those falling in love with Disney's child
now alone, in silence that heavenly isolation
but still the devil stirs inside
Can you know him dancing on my cheek?
Oh! but a star,
so I'll turn and find your eyes
already there, to greet me
on the journey back

The Dada Da-da da. (Call Everything By Its Proper Name)
So you call 'the rain' in pain.
In pain you call 'the rain'
the rain, the rain, the rain
that molten lava rain,
that beats the windowpane,
that is the blade tht cuts your face.
the rain that runs down swollen face,
water like lace,
water like lace on your face,
so the lace, lace, lace
traces your face, face, face
rain, pane, train
and everything' in pain.
The rain is the pain,
that cuts your face with a blade,
so your blood it runs like lace,
blood lace, bloodied lace,
on your face
your face, your face.
