Dumbass

that is what I am and must be
to have let you go one without me
cannot believe how stupid I was
you always said I was smart
guess you were wrong
I made the worst mistake
and I now I have a fate worse than death
I watch as you love another
as he holds you in his arms
that should have been me
but I was stupid
maybe this is my fate to love from afar
but to never have the love I so dearly want

guess I am stupid after all

One Last Look

One last look is all I have
of our home we built together
were our dreams were born
with one last look I bide them farewell

One Last look is all I have
Saying good bye to the town
where we played and dreamed together
the tree were we shared our fist kiss
the fountain where I asked for your love
I watch as we leave
never to see this place again

One last looks is all I have
as soldiers over run our home
we didn't choose a side in the war
but we were considered a threat
one last look is all I have
because of a fool king fears us
