The Waterfall
Humble hut by the cascading waterfall,
Land covered by the pure snow,
The trees stand tall and unyielding.
O, the sound of flowing water,
The hermit concentrates his focus deeply,
Surely 'tis life's physical embodiment?
This waterfall to end in time,
'Tis he learned in his contemplations,
That beauty expresses in itself sadness.
Yet this matters not to him,
He shall for this fleeting moment,
Enjoy this tranquil nature's beauty.

That Which Caused My Loneliness
That which caused my loneliness,
Are disagreements.
My pride hurt so much that it might never heal.
A slight mistake,
I must pay for it.
Were we to turn back time,
I might have been the victor.
Melancholic I feel,
I wander around aimlessly.
Truth be told,
Why have I reacted in such a way?
The answer might be thus;
I am human.
We are such that petty things make us fall out.
I have left you,
But I long to rejoin you.
