Went to the windmill
To see her daughter, Nancy.
When she got there,
Her daughter was bare -
Just fancy!

New Towns
Concrete fuzziwigs,
Landmarks for the daft,
Melancholy moo cows,
Ducks before and aft,
Came the mighty motorway,
Came the common car,
Open University,
Cantilevered bra.
McDonalds in defiance
Of every well-known fact,
CCTV just in case
Some pensioner gets whacked.
Multi-storey parking lots,
Chunky-tyred jeeps,
Pavement-spanning pushchairs,
Manic mobile bleeps.
