I Have Faith In Love
For a while I didn't believe in anything
Until I was forced to see the world anew
The I found all my faith stored beneath the sink
And I began to believe in you
I can see some reason now
I can find some sense in the life I lead
When I'm looking at your smile
I realize exactly why I breathe
Now I don't invest much time in religious s**t
And I don't just give out my trust
But I do believe in the power of love
And I do believe in us

If The World were only paved in stars
Instead of lies and signs and stars
We wouldn't have to be so afraid of what we are
If The World were only paved in stars
If The World were only made of light
Instead of banks and fame and fights
We wouldn't feel so utterly alone at night

Instead of fears and confusion and cries

Girl In My Mirror
I'm looking in my mirror
Theres a girl in there tonight
Shes breaking apart so quickly
And nothing can make it alright
Her eyes are red and swollen
Mascara bleeding down her face
She'll never let them know
That shes feeling out of place
She asks
'Mirror mirror on the wall
Who is
The biggest fool of all'
Maybe its the girl
Crying her life away
Or maybe its the boy
Who's mind has been lead astray
Theres this girl in my mirror
With tears she can no longer hide
She can't pretend any longer
Because nothing is alright

Mother Moon II
Mother give me strength
Give me wisdom, give me will
Give me love, give me health
Let me know what is real
Tell me who to trust
Tell me what is fate
Give me the strength to love
And the maturity not to hate
Let me fall in love
Let me have true friends
Show me the real meaning
Of together until the end
Give me the power of prayer
Let me have a stable mind
Give me the strength to have patience
And the strength to be kind
Help me stand and fight
Don't let me run away
Give me the bravery to face my fear
And to face another day

Mother give me the strength to stand strong
Give me the courage to do whats right
Give me the life to live
And the wisdom to give good advice
Mother give me a life to touch
Give me the emotions to feel
Give me the knowledge to know when its false
And to know when its real
Mother give me the hand to hold
Give me the heart with which to love
Give me the eyes to look upon you
In that glittering sky above
Mother give me someone special
Give me love that knows no end

Inner Child
Fight the bonds with growing older
Listen to the child in your heart
Resist the urge to let it go
Don't let two great things fall apart
Step away from the normalcy
Keep your imagination bright
Run from the creative blocks
That attack you from left and right
Keep finding joy in the simple things
Like a rainbow in the sky
Keep being thankful for living
Yet be unafraid to die
There is this child deep inside
That you can't let society take away
Don't let them kill the creative spark
Without this child it cannot stay
Don't let them strangle you with maturity
And please don't try to grow up too fast
Appreciate life's simple treasures
So you can help your Inner Child last

Who That Soldier Is
Thats somebody's little boy out there
Getting shot at on the field
Thats somebody's baby
In more pain than anyone should feel
Thats somebody's daddy
Out there in the middle of the fight
Thats somebody's parent
Who will never get to kiss his daughter goodnight
Thats somebody's lover
Who will never get to tell her he loves her again
Thats somebody's husband
Her protector and her best friend
Thats a mother's son
Thats her pride and joy
Thats a father's favorite companion
Thats his little boy
And the soldier you see in the casket
Was very proud of what he was fighting for
But he'll never see his parents, wife or daughter again
Because he died protecting our country in the war

I'm sick of this place
I'm sick of this time
And I'm sick of the dreams
That are driving me out of my mind
I'm sick of this town
