The Disdain
Bygone beleaguered and upcoming vague
it's NOW that must sustain
Intolerable may the affliction be,
but borne the ephemeral pain
Nothing is enduring and must logically lapse,
to start all over again
Consistency is the only hallmark
one fervently needs to attain
A step in front of another,
on the long trudge one has to maintain
To witness the proverbial sunshine
following bucketfuls of rain

The Swap
Past drift though interminable,
but the challenge along got lost
Prodding me on the uncharted
and to implausible head on accost
The consequences don't inhibit
except the transitory lead on part
The reserves are nearly expended
and the dividends yet to start
Unpredictability of uncertain future
none knows what might produce
If it rewards with expectant pleasures
or predicaments vaguely abstruse

Verse Pensive
Abridging gifts benign of sensing,
beholding and ability to touch
To encapsulate NOW in eternity
to be reminisced in future as such
No beginning at the onset
or with any intent of putting it to an end
Chronicling facets as memoires
the ponderings casually penned
Subsistence of indulgent monotony

An Unsettling Stir
Undoing intricate tangles,
the bizarre phenomenon is observed
The lot though dished copiously,
is in contrast to truly deserved
Often labors those employed,
don't reveal the truest of one's plight
Where trudge is incessantly eternal
and no end anywhere in sight
Simple overtures get rejected
and one's intentions are treated askance

The ropes you think to have mastered
is nothing but a minor part
A clumsy stroke on a life's canvas
of the sustained and intricate art
What need were to be duplicitous
when at the helm you held the rein
The purpose for false pretenses
and innocent ignorance try and feign
Consume you would in your own fury
for the failed deceitful plot
The past association often envied

The Pearls on a String
A lifetime full of motley shades,
some vibrant and a few hued blue
Most transpired as expected events,
others unceremoniously undue
Expected storms can be endured
not the sudden gusts of the winds wild
With time one learns to ingest the toughest
but the mushy intake mild
Millions may be in reckoning
but with just a handful one does equate

The Qualm
Sustained spans of inactivity
on own ability at times cast doubts
With the core riddled with uncertainty
educe dreary seeming bouts
Guess phenomenon is totally not off beam
in situation as such affects
Where pessimism it goes to spotlight
while keen fervor tries and deflects
One may seem as a persona practiced
still ambiguities repeatedly impede

In times it may or
perhaps never ever dawn
Loser would you always remain
in your devious plans drawn
I do not love you
and likewise it's around
Pity it isn't, nor sympathy
but guess morally we seem bound
Suffering has been constant

Wasn't in the dreams
and never even thought
The change life has served

Confronted with varied sentiments
