My Dear Lady

You who have the world at your feet
Sit there and tell me you feel so alone
Yet you give your advice so easily
And tell me this is my one and only home
Dear Lady I disagree with you
There are times you will act friendly
Other times you will be so cold inside
How you try to somehow scold me
With your stern voice and angry eyes
Dear Lady I disagree with you
You tell me that one day I'll learn
All my wild ways will lead me wrong
I stand there and shake my head so
Knowing you are more then wrong
Dear Lady I disagree with you

House Of Many Rooms

The sound of the clock ticking
How this old house creeps
Another storm tonight approaches
So restless I can't sleep
Dark filled big long rooms
Portrait of a lady in view
Corridor that never seems to end
From a distance I thought I seen you
House Of Many Rooms
The sound of heavy rain falling
Feelings sourround of another place
An oval mirror hangs on the wall
And there I thought I seen your face
The smell of wild flowers
A gentle breeze blows from outside
Heavy laced dark curtains
A vision of you before my eyes
House Of Many Rooms

Sheltered Heart

Early morning rise
Rain pouring Down outside
Memories greets me again
They are what I hide
Sheltered Heart
A tender emotion
I cringe to take hold
Like a small child
I fear of being scold
Sheltered Heart
I feel strength pulling
Again I stand alone
Feeling life's energy
My heart turns to stone
Sheltered Heart
Recalling all that was tonight
I keep my head raised high
Knowing I've nothing to prove
Protected I am deep inside
Sheltered Heart

I'm Gonna Forget You Now

Listen up and you will surely hear
All this is pointless nothing's clear
Your confusion so thick as ice
You see I wanted only to love you
But you made me see this through
I see the ugly and it's not nice
I'm Gonna Forget You Now
Those lines you handed to me
So sweet but not meant to be
I walk my own very path here
All is forgotten and now it's clear
I'm Gonna Forget You Now
Did you even feel bad in all of this
All those spent nights passionate kiss
Well I'm not looking back again
All is well and here's where it ends
I'm Gonna Forget You Now

My Love For Poetry

You can take the smile from me
And leave me alone to frown
You can walk away and forget
But you'll never bring this down
My Love For Poetry
Throw those shadows as you do
And tell me there's more to life
You see you will never know
The true love I know is right
My Love For Poetry
There is no greater love you see
It speaks for me from inside
You can shake your head and go
Because this love will never die
My Love For Poetry
Yes the greatest love of all
Is the words I can express
You can't take that from me
No matter in life or in death
My Love For Poetry

How I Disagree With You My Friend

Dark and dusty road well travelled

I see the dim clouds above me

The voice of the past is calling

Your vision there I almost see

The evening is coming close

How I regret turning back again

It was your very words I recall

When you told me all must end

How I Disagree With You Friend

Nothing lasts forever you said

My Little Son Life Is Yours

Everything is not as we wish
There will be obstacles for sure
We can do the very best we can
And learn from mistakes before
My Little Son Life Is Yours
You come to me for answers
If I knew them I would tell you
But I too seek for the answers
Just like you are doing too
My Little Son Life Is Yours
You are so young with open eye
How your days are only games
One day you'll be a mighty man
And you find much has changed
My Little Son Life Is Yours
You must always remember
I will always be there my son
Always love, live, and laugh
My darling precious little one

Sonnet 12

How can you second guess me.
You can't feel what I feel inside.
You can only throw shadows you see.
But you'll never know the tears I cry.
Open the door never to look back again,
The frown on your face with mean stare.
I can take no more it's finally the end.
Take advantage of a heart that truly cared.
There is no need for words to now state,
On I go to my very own journey I roam.
A few plans in my mind come what may.
But this is more much more then you've shown!
I will do it my way and I will pay the price.
There I will settle at last and start my life.

Women By Far Are Fools

A woman never tires for love
She can feel the instant neglect
You can't hide feeling from her
She will know as she suspects
Women By Far Are Fools
You think you have some plan
And you play it all so well
She will see right through you
Yes a woman can always tell
Women By Far Are Fools
Her eyes watch you carefully
As she senses with her heart
A untrue heart hasn't a chance
She picks that up from the start
Women By Far Are Fools
You think you can play her
There you better think again
She will always figure you out
Yes that you can always depend
Women By Far Are Fools

In The Company Of Women

Glass in hand she shouts
Ladies night out tonight!
Here's where the fun begins
Not a single man in sight
Drinks are all on me she smiles
Enough of all the doom and gloom!
Drunken smirks with sleepy eyes
Not a single male in the room
In The Company Of Women
As the music plays loud in my ears
I see a two women share a long kiss
The night is young and full of life
So glad to have been a part of this
Asked to dance I can't resist so
The smell of perfume in the air
Surely the time is running away now
But nobody seems to even care
In The Company Of Women
