Bodies

A body is the voice of a soul,
It speaks without words,
A language understood only by the one it desires,
Wanting freedom like caged birds.

Bodies understand only passion and longing,
They are incapable of telling a lie,
And when a body divulges its secrets to another,
What happens cannot be stopped by you or I.

A body remembers, it never forgets,
Another body which reigned its inner sanctum,
Even though through life it meets others,
It feels lost in an unknown kingdom.

When pain sends two bodies to gulfs of liquid fire,
And when love is the only remedy,
Their loins fuse to never part,
Dancing to a lustful rhapsody.

Bubbles

With a goal from the time they were born,
Something was pushing them ahead,
Crafted by man embellished by nature,
Up they go on their invisible thread.
They're something we see every day,
But don't understand the message they send.
Their tale is heroic even though these evanescent bubbles will come to an end.
Their strength and their life may not be up to the mark,
But they try to soar as high as they can and die with a spark,
They fought till the finish and never said no,
But there is always something to learn from their afterglow.
Life is not just meant for hypothetical dreams but also exploring the far-fetched.
So nurture your inquisitive mind to erase its tentativeness.
As one dropp of water can turn into a stream,
There is no greater courage than the courage to live your dream.
So change yourself and remember this,
Your only salvation is this metamorphosis.
The most beautiful thing about these bubbles,
Is that like people who followed their dreams but met their end,
They will always remain in our heart and always be reminiscent.

The Firefly

In the midst of a dark Jungle,
Just beneath the infinite sky,
Illuminating the bleak trees,
There lived a lonely firefly.

He flew to every corner of the woods,
None to love he could find,
Flapping his wings, with thirty eyes he searched,
Leaving an evanescent trail of light behind.

Hopeless and heartsick, he gave up,
In bittersweet melancholy he began to cry,
But suddenly in the sky shimmering with light,
he saw the prettiest firefly.

The brightest glowing light it had,
Radiant golden like a honey dipped dove,
And right that instant our little firefly,
Irrevocably fell in love.

Little Nothings

That endless sunrise, a stellar surprise
A naked disguise in the kingdom of skies
The sound of gushing waves, beauty without a price
Sobbing in vain over a mistake made twice.

The silent lullabies of that woman so wise
Devoured by an asp at the roll of mere dice
Whimsical dreams in the age of the three blind mice
That valiant slithering over the thin ice

With feelings so elaborate yet words so concise
Watching the sun set in someone else's eyes
The meeting of scarlet lips and breaking of intimate ties
Another memory etched for the mind to exorcize

Azure oceans that now look turquoise
Stepped into an abyss, difficult to acclimatize
Those unheard cries, that inheritance of a vice
Intoxicated with euphoria yet the pain never dies

The House In The Middle Of A War Field

There was a house in the middle of a war field,
A conspicuous little dot on the vast patch of land.
And many beasts fought bloody wars around it,
Yet the house unperturbed, remained rooted to the sand.

All doors and windows of this house had been shut for aeons,
Some people lived inside away from the truth, so abominable.
They lived there guarded, sometimes pretended to not hear the cries,
Ignorance being the prime weapon in their arsenal.

One day a curious young girl in the house said something rather strange,
She wanted to see the world outside, she wanted to be freed.
Everyone disagreed, they said its too dangerous and she will perish.
But she didn't fear death, she despised the creed.

It took her decades to convince the others, and after a lot of coaxing they agreed.
Their hollowed souls were tired of simply existing, to them even death seemed like an adventure.
And so for the first time, the rusty doors of the house had opened,
The sun rays heralded a moment of enlightenment.

The Mechanism Of Life

He was a handsome soldier, respectful and rich,
And lived a charmed life, without a single glitch.,

But life is an endless labyrinth, with temptations at every turn,
Put a leash around your desires or let your insides churn

The soldier gave in and stepped into the abyss,
Someone was keeping a count of his sins, he knew not of this.

He set in motion the wheels of a concept of great antiquity,
A mechanism created by a superior entity.

He lived a great life, satisfying every urge,
And finally the skies opened its gate for him, as the mortals sang his dirge.

At the gates of heaven, he was told his sins were far too great,
So his dreams of living in heaven for now, had to wait

He was sent back stripped off his memories, new birth, new life,
To struggle as a tramp, No elation only strife.
