I think what every skater dreams of is not only skating the best program they can possibly skate, but, y'know, having the crowd roar at the end, and it was just so loud I couldn't even hear my music.

When I started my program... there was a big clock in the corner and I looked and it said nine o'clock exactly. And it was funny, because when I was standing on the podium, it said exactly 10 p.m., and this whole hour had changed my life.

Imaginary!
I can imagine your blessed innocence,
You muse and speculate in your imagination.
Ahh, what a relief to believe that I truly have a choice in this!
Your imagination gives me hope.
Your certainty strong,
Your judgment steadfast.
If I had your imagination, I could blush at my silliness
Give myself a swift kick and stern reproach.
They are just choices you know!
Here in the safety and innocence of your imagination.
Whence did that deviant despair blow back into my soul?
Now I’m feeling sad, a lightly sort of pout
Tuck me back in your steadfast imagination.
For my hope has run dry it seems it was only imaginary.

Strange but True
Strange man laying in my bed-
Thank you for your attempt to comfort and your kind words you've said.
I mean no offense to you,
right now I just need my husband instead.
Strange man, you are beginning to prick a wound.
Please stop saying you are my husband!
I'm crescendoing, this is all too soon.
I cannot argue that you say you are my husband.
I can only offer my reasons you cannot be.
Strange man I assure you, you are not him.
He's a survivor, a fighter, a faithful family man.
As a matter of fact, in this very moment, I need him so very badly right now.
As a matter of fact, I hope I do offend you-
a coward, a liar claiming you're my husband,
how?

Life Bottled is Death
I am a butterfly
I flitter about
I rest awhile
I soar
What makes me beautiful?
I could keep you guessing for hours.
Capture me with a lid and bowl
I will die before your eyes.
My wings loose desire, life vanishes from my soul.
As I sit in despair my heart returns to the cocoon.
Look at what you are missing,
life without rhythm to a butterflies tune.
Trust in the nature of a thing.
A butterfly flitters and flies,
it may return it may go.
Isn't that what makes it truly beautiful?
Who would watch a butterfly if we already knew it's next move?
Trust in the nature of a thing.
