Blindfoled I trust
so blind
even to what i see,
But blind trust
It's not kind -
it pierced through me.

Pretender

You pretend, you hide
You turn your face away
Reality is an illusion
And disillusioned you stay

You say the animal calls
But you're more human than me
What is uncaged wildness
Just human emotion set free

The oyster i once called you
Your little shell you defend
A pretender you are
You do nought nut pretend

Ocean's Moon

i'm the ocean's moon
i belong to the sea
i dance to her tune
and she sets me free

in her freezing waters
ive found a warm home
her love encompasses me
in her shelter i have grown

when the sky looks down
feeling empty without me
i look up and smile
but turn away silently

the sky held me too long
the ocean's call i heard
the sky has lost it's light
ocean's moon; nature reversed.
