Afterlife

We all live - then we all die
But remember there's no reason to cry
If you've lived everyday right
Your future ahead will always be bright

Heaven will come - Earth burning like the sun
Your sins fading away
But only if you stand up for Him today

Don't shy away from Him
Otherwise you'll carry your own sin
- Hell is also there -
It's not just a story to scare

So believe and do it right
Then, your future ahead will always be bright

Love & Loss

Once upon a time I saw you there
across the room, I couldn't help but stare
Something new was being born
a feeling, I didn't know I soon would mourn

The perfect future flashed before my eyes
not like the one to come, with tears and lonely cries
We did not know what the future would bring
and yet you gave me the most beautiful ring
I didn't plan on loosing you so soon
my greatest love, now becoming my very doom

You gave your life for me to live
and now - alone - I stand upon this cliff
that tragic moment stuck in my head like a guitar riff

The Calling

This is me - always secretly wishing to be free
I feel so trapped in this world
I need to do something life changing and bold
What I need to do, I already know
But when the arrow shoots, left behind is only the bow

Riches and gold is what people seem to chase
But I see only destruction for this human race
The answer - the solution lies in the stars
Always there healing everybody's scars

Shining brightly in the blue morning sky
He's holding the barrier protecting you and I
Like electricity His love through us flow
The arrow now taking with it a true golden bow.

Extreme Tenderness

As rough as the sea, as sweet as an apple tree
As bright as the stars, as violent as mars
As dangerous as Africa's big five, you're the adrenalin that keeps me alive

As magical as the full moon, as captivating as a flowers first bloom
As beautiful as a pearl, as elegant as the tango's swirl
To a hunter, the trophy of a grizzly
Nothing compares, you're worth much more to me

As hard as a moon rock, as exotic as a peacock
As high as the shadow of the twin towers, as lovely as the scent of wild flowers
Like everything with no limit, my heart is full…because you fill it

BoyGirl

Every morning, his face, the only sight I wish to see.
Better hurry now, can't let her get away from me
It's like he's pulling me and I got to obey
She's mine today, no more running away

It's a routine; we've been doing this for so long
Right at her side, that's where I belong

He's looking at me with that calm morning blue eyes
Her smile even more beautiful than the brightest sunrise
Still holding my gaze, he's walking towards me
I'm in a trance, is this an angel I see?

Can't get the words out, I'm struggling to speak
Girl, here it goes, finally today we truly meet
His lips starting to move, what does he say?
The first word, very casually I just smile and say… HEY!

Let It Shine

The world is full of danger,
but everyone's like 'see ya later'
We all want someone to care for us,
To make us happy, laugh and blush
But it seems like I'm always alone
Not even someone there to throw me a scrappy bone

No, I'm not gonna let it get me down,
Cause the worlds full of problems and I don't wanna drown.
I'd rather make this scene a joke and dress up like a rodeo clown

Oke, the world may be ugly - I agree -
But that's not me,
someday I'm gonna make a difference, just you wait and see…

I will not fall into despair,
cause the world is Hell and makes us not want to care
But then again the choice is mine,
So I'd rather wake up, see the truth and let is SHINE!

Broken Homes

I look around and all I see is confusion
People walking around with happy faces of illusion
Their hearts filled with emotion, but empty with love
Everyone unhappy, just calling the other persons bluff
A battlefield, I never thought I would be
Now it's just the war inside of me

Left and right word-bombs are falling
I'm screaming, fighting, but no one even hears me calling
Inside we are all slowly dying
Because there's a truth each of us are denying

Friends come first and family have to wait till later
But when you turn it around they all just call you a hater
People get into your head; they say it's for the best
But let me tell you, every day is just filled with more stress

Now please let me make it better
-Let me make it right
If you'll give me a chance

Be1ieve

I look up at the sun, yellow streaks of light dancing - twirling with the red and orange beams
Golden and glorious high up in the sky, but to your beauty it does not compare
So I look higher where stars and supernovas clash into colours one's mind cannot even imagine
But still to your beauty it does not compare

This time I have to look down into the clear crystal waters of the Atlantic Ocean
Thousands of colours melting into one another - combined by corrals and creatures of the water
Again to your beauty it does not compare
Now I have no choice but to look deeper - deeper into the earth's secrets
In to the heart of our planet where every molecule meet its one and only match

Only to find the most extraordinary things
- Better than the sun and all its radians
- Better than the stars and the supernova
- Better than the colours in the ocean
- Even better than the tiny crystals of the ocean waters
- And yet I have found that to your beauty it just does not compare

So alas I turn to one side and look in the mirror - the beauty compares
You are beautiful - just believe ;)
