The Night Sky
Night sky, Night sky
Twinkling stars near by
White moon, white moon
You light up the night in full bloom
The night in display
Watching this sky play
Hiding behind the clouds
Are these silvery bright stars
Ready in action
The sky a distraction
Sweet kiss from these tender lips
And the feeling of love at my finger tips

A Lonely Star
A lonely star speckled by a little boy
Its moving he says curiously
Where are its friends
Asks the little one, as we look to the beautiful
night sky
Lighting up the dark
Was this glowing star
Was he abandoned? Nor not he
For he was out to show his ability
On our drive
The little one utters
“The lonely star follows us”
Smiling with a response,
the bright little star is here to lead our way!

Our Journey Complete
I hear angels whispering our name
One by one, we hear the same
This life that was given, has come to an end
Angels await, for heaven they send
Our soul that parts it's physical form
For tears of love that you keep warm
As we drift, to find our way
Gateways of heaven open we pray
Celebrate our living, we request
For our journey on earth, was the quest
Wipe those tears of grief and pain
For we will meet in heaven again...

A Mother's Heart
Numb with feelings on the loss of her child
A mother, she stood with a bleeding heart
Tears of sadness that struck her being
for this beautiful mother with love she wept
Recalling memories of her only son
was a child that chose the best mother for him
His learnings on earth has come to an end
Leaving his mother to cope, without him
Her heart that aches with constant pain
Mother I am okay, for I am resting now
A time will come for us to meet
So mother please, “do not weep”.

The Morning of Yesterday
Quiet walks and pondering time
Was a magnificent day at Jells park
The gentle heat of the beautiful sun
We retreat to the shade under the tree
Birds chirping and the cool breeze
I look to the sky through the leaves
Aaric with his soccer ball, kicks…..
Naughty Nonee “Do not hold me, for you are a cheat”
Smiles, laughter's, tantrums' and disaster
Oh! what beautiful sight at Jells Park
Ducks at the lake, dogs on leashes
And people riding their mountain bikes
Oh! What a day
to spend the morning of yesterday
Out for fun, under the sun
Where family and friends become one!
