The drumline playing
A sad and sorrow filled beat
The end of the world

Soda Called Irony
Been grinding my teeth
This pain just wont leave
Like a headache screech
It leaves me on the floor
It eats at my stomach
'til the day I die
I don't know why
I live with this irony
Where the one thing I love
Is slowly killing me off

Humming Bird
There's memories and dreams
and some pretty simple things
There's priorities and beams
from the sun as a humming bird sings
But Autumn brings such a sad song
The tune, the melody, the memory
I've dreamt of this for so long
I can't believe it's not a dream
I would like to show you something
but you'd just pass a blind eye
The humming bird sings
Its the melody, the memory, of you and I

Solemn Truth
It's a sad solemn truth
This sad solemn lie.
Just taken from our youth
Was it worth it to try?
We can precieve what we need.
If what we want doesn't get in our way.
But it always will, always will.
It's a sad solemn truth
This sad solemn life
Just taken from our world
Was it worth the strife?
We can precieve what's believed.
Or you can read into this solemn life
But you never will, never will...

Every Dog Will Have It's Day
Well they say
That every dog will have it's day
But it's truly a shame
What that dog became
Who he had to betray
It was never the same
He could never stay
He could only whimper away
Today, I don't want to be afraid
I've seen where the dog laid
Portrayed to wag it's tail
but between his legs he failed
Where he got derailed and went a stray
Well they say
That every dog will have it's day
But that day isn't today
So sit, boy, and stay

The Sun Has Gone Away
It feels like my sun has gone away
To get me through my day
I cannot see I do not speak
Yet I am not afraid
For the sun may be gone but it will return
The bright lights no longer burn
So I am waiting for you
To come back home
I promise to take good care
Of everything you've left behind
You'll return to find
The tears have been all mopped up
and don't you dare look away
The sun will rise someday
and when it does
We'll all be there
and when it does
