Cold and dreary, dark and alone
Wind wailing thru the icy night
Dragging on and on
So reluctant to leave
Mad and angry to be forced to go
One last storm, one last night
Winter steals her away
Winter likes to go alone

Now all seems calm

Left struggling in your wake
Trying to put to rest

Waiting for Inspiration
What are you doing I asked
I am waiting
What are you waiting for
Inspiration
Are you not surrounded by it
Does the sun not shine upon you
Do the waters not run clear
Are you not sitting on it
Do I not blow for you
It is not what you won
It is not what you steal
It is what you live and how you live it
Do not sit here waiting
Stand and greet it
This inspiration you desire
Run and live it

In the Silence of the Dark
In the silence of the dark
The human silence
Feeling cool earth under me
River ran in front of me
One cool long flowing liquid line
A painting hosting a moving river
The mountain loomed before me
It's shadow illuminated from the moon
I look for you
You are not here
I know you are not with me
If I owned them, I would trade them all
The glowing stars in the night sky
Just to have you on the ground with me
But I feel you anyway

Starligt starbright O I've wished on you many nights
Starlight starbright you always make it right
I can't remember life before you, my star
Tomorrow I won't remember the desperation
I always lose the fight starlight
The first star I see tonight
I need you one more night

How long have I been running far far away from you
As many miles as I've gone
Still the darkness comes on
There will be a crimson moon tonight
Dust moon rises...your face haunts me so

Rainy Daze
Tears falling from my sky
Mixing with the raindrops running from my eyes
And our sky may cry in crystal showers
And tomorrow may seem a hundred miles away
And your hurting may be strong for the moment
But this sadness cannot stay
Bring me the sunshine to dry up all the rain
The sunshine to put and end to our pain
Now you know the years have been hard ones
You see it when you look into their eyes
And you hope for them that these crystal teardrops
