Josie Davis Poem 2
The serenity of smiles
like raindrops upon the roof tiles
The gargoyle wings flutter
as rainwater runs down the gutter
And the crimson fire tingles
as raindrops fall upon the shingles
The scent of freesia flowers
after the romantic rain showers
And serenity is not to think
just let our champagne glasses clink
Serenity is the beauty that lies
deep within your sapphire-blue eyes
