Storm! ! !

STORM! ! !

It needs to storm, rain like crazy
Thunder, lightning, and winds galore
I miss the pitter patter sounds
Of rain on my window
Watching the light show from abroad
Listening to those angels bowl
The storm relieves the stress in me
Puts my nerves at ease
It makes me sleep well at night
A good nights rest is what I need
Puddles of water gathered in the street
Night crawlers crawling at day
The smell of rain in the air
It’s all about the rain my friend
It’s such a treat

I will again stand strong

I WILL AGAIN STAND STRONG

I’ve been knocked down
Injured my pride
It knocked my mind way out of wack
I knew it was wrong
I still took that ride
Trying to get everything back-
I will again stand strong

It will take some time to get back on my feet
The strength within me will prevail
I will never accept defeat
I will be victorious
I will not fail-
I will again stand strong

Feeling flat on my back
Everything to lose

Rest-less criminals

REST-LESS CRIMINALS

Coping with the lights
They never turn off
Keeping me up all night
No sleep at all
They talk and shout
They party all night
I want to knock them out
It’s just not right
Trying to ignore these sounds and lights
To get some sleep
Would be a delight
Whether I like it or not
Forced to stay up all night
I hate this fact
That I can’t sleep at will
But it’s all my fault I guess

Structural Defect

STRUCTURAL DEFECT

Once a strong bridge built with concrete and steel
Supporting the ways of those that travel
Standing so strong, no signs of dismay
Only to drop, no longer erect
Looking so firm, looking so tough
It couldn’t stay arise
There’s a structural defect

Being so coy, distracted by success
Caught off guard by actions of nature
Flaunting the muscles of which it was given
Only to fall, no strength is left
Tumble to the ground, destruction at hand
No chance for fulfillment
There’s a structural defect

Created for speed and power, it functions with ease
