Canis Cadem Edit (Dog Eat Dog)
Today I was running to the light
But some arse pushed me aside
I tumbled to the ground
Scraped my new and scarred my frown
I thought some nice person would help me up
But they were all running to the same thing I was
They ignored the disabled girl
Squirming on earths floor
Once tears were rolling down my bloody cheeks
Someone shouted something strange to me
they said 'DOG EAT DOG'
And ran along
Dog eat dog?
That's not right
That's quite wrong

Crashed Words Thoughts
Losing my voice
My face is lost in a crowd
My smiles gone to the abyss
And my head is missing it's crown
Everything is going right
Yet I feel so desensitized
It's like I miss the tension
Of everything crashing down
Slowly in my mind
I was growing stronger with the tears
And now I find happiness
And luck is combined with fear
Have I lost my identity?
Because I feel alive
Because I have a dream life
Trapped in a doll house
With the kids looking in
Wanting it to end
But where did it begin?

Cracked Egg
You feign happiness when you look at me
But I see beyond you're pretty mask
I know under the pavement are deep cracks
Cracks that create a river flowing to the ocean
The infinite sea that promises you no devotion
You're veins will become varicose as you get older
And the cracks will grow wider as you grow colder
You can't pretend to be something else all the time
One day you'll have to break down, fall and cry
And curl into your fetal position, regretting your decision
For you've hurt so many with your pointless lies
So you're reputation would stand the test of time
But you are not as epic as you credit yourself to be
You're just a liar, you're just a feign
'We must be careful about what we pretend to be'
Is something you shall never comprehend
Never understand
Though it's in your demand
You can't seem to push the button
And open the elevator
