I've lost,
once and for all
how did I lose, I'm the better person
I waited for you to call
(but I lost)

Even after i confided in you
it wasn't any of my business
(because I lost)

I've lost my senses
my thoughts are full of angst when
you built this wall, put up these fences
(I've lost)

I pray for the day I don't feel you close by
Its something I'll never have and I cry
(I've lost hope)
