Numb

I wish to be numb from all the pain.
It feels like my life is headed down the drain.
I have no life. I have no goals.
I have no lover because I'm a slob.
When will this suffering ever end?
I just drink and smoke until my brain is dead.
I'll feel no pain.
The beast will be slain.
I'll be to numb to really care.
If I get eaten by the bear.
I'll shut it out, the fears and doubt.
In the numbness I'll not scream or shout.
I'll feel no reason to go about.
I'll live like a big fat lazy lout.
The numbness keeps me from the truth.
About the way I feel for you.
It doesn't matter cause I'm numb.
Even though I look so dumb.
To be numb is the path I'll follow,
till I'm at the door of death.

Love Comes

It strikes you hard and fast.
All your life this game will last.
When you're not looking it hits you like a blast.
All of a sudden your heart is glass.
Inside you feel their killing glance.
You want them badly. You're going mad.
Without them near you're feeling sad.
Love comes quickly like a ghost.
It grows quickly inside the host.
You feel a tremor.
Drenched in sweet.
In the ground your feet are set.
You'll get to know this sweetie yet.
It comes so quick. How did it happen?
Inside your head the thunders clapping.
Ten beats a second your heart is pounding.
You try to speak.
Your brain has sprung a leak.
All the while you're unaware.

Caged

Suppres this rage and turn the page.
Keep moving on to better days.
To all the negativity that you've played.
It's brought you down and left you dazed.
What good trails has it blazed?
Pilling up misery in your way.
No good can come.
You're in a cage.
Locked inside with devouring rage.
You can't even have a peaceful day.
You have no hope.
Hanging by this treacherous rope.
Stewing there like a colassal dope.
So move on now and stop this rip.
Try your best to get a grip.
It will be much more pleasent on this trip.
You can't live your life in rage filled time.
Against yourself it's such a crime.
Everonward you should climb.
It gets better without the slime.

Inside of me you built a flame.
I thought it real till I saw your games.
Tagging me along to be your slave.

When you wanted it we misbehaved.

The Clearing

Insecure in all I see.
In every word,
every deed.
Seems no matter what I do.
I screw it up through and through.
How am I to keep from falling to my death?
Your words have killed.
Peace of mind is laid to rest.

No matter what I have to do,
I'll find a way to fight on through.
I'll show you how my strength is great.
How all you fools did underestimate.
Don't stop me nowI have no fear,
one day soon I'll be in the clear.

The Storm

A tempestous storm.
Well beyond the norm.
Thunder crashing threatiningly warns.
God will crush all the evils in all it's forms.
The time has come for all reform.
You'll face your demons in this storm.
Struggling, pleading to be reborn.
Only through him will come no harm.
The storm is heavy.
Now are you ready?
To face the pain that on you rains?
Go to him with no refrain.
He'll save you if you're true and plain.
About the things you must explain.
If you won't the lightning strikes.
To put you back and set you right.
You'll suffer mighty in this plight.
The rapture storm is dark as night.
Destroying wicked blackness to set things right.

Everyones Fool

I'm everyone's fool.
Like a dunce in the corner I just sit and drool.
Expected to fail, a stupid fool.
Everyone thinks me quite cowardly too.
I'm sick of all their empty words.
Lack of true encouragement truly burns.
Compared to the others I come in third.
They think I'll fail.
Their opinion of me is so pale.
I'm stuck inside this lonley jail.
I'm everyone's fool, I know quite well.
They'd rather put their stock in the rest of them.
I'm such a flawed and half assed gem.
The other two are clean and pure.
No problem there, that's for sure.
They treat me like I can't see their lies.
Like I'm too stupid to read their eyes.
'We truly believe that they are great, as for you not today.'
I'm far too stupid for such a gift.

Brooding

Brooding here in deepest thought.
Do people care for what I've wrought?
I come to share and they don't care,
afraid to explore the darker fare.

I speak only truth for what I feel.
What I've seen,
how I deal.

A brooding soul I may be.
What's so wrong,
I ask not for your pity.
I only come here to express,
how I see in joy and much distress.

No one reads,
no one cares.
Is my point of view so very rare?

I Am

I am not the thing you want to be.
I promise you want no part of me.
A soul sucking grinch from hell.
Twisted and torn by yeas of misfortune.

I am not the man that you think.
I hide my insanity,
I'm close to the brink.
Of letting it loose the creature inside.
Howling and curseing casting humanity aside.

I am not what you want,
a bitter angry fool.
A demon that needs to feed on emotions like food.
Vengance and pluner are all that I want.
To right al the hurt feelings and get what I want.

Eulogy

So here lies my hopes and dreams.
Of all the hopes I had could ever be.
Tossed away in a useless heap.
All that's left is to shudder and weep.

I tried so hard, I tried so long.
When and where did it go so despearetley wrong?
No communication preventing unification.
I must pronounce this adventure at an end.

I wonder what will come of us.
Does the bitterness for me turn to hatred ten times plus?
I get so tense,
I get so mad,
but in the end I just feel truly sad.

The love we had,
the trust we shared.
Now I'm cold and weak,
so very scared.
