Need Not

I need not fear what you think of me.
I'm in no need of your disgraceful pity.
I feel your fear that I'm some creepy loon.
A man who's come to take you down to the tomb.

All I wanted was freindship maybe more.
If it's not what you wanted I'd step back from the door.
You told me you liked me, I knew what you meant.
A freind was all I said and
a freind I meant.

You treat me like I had steped over the bound.
When I laid clear just my curiosity I was looking and found.
To know and to show a freind both ways need.
You took it all wrong and false bile you did feed.

I need not fear what you are but I do.
You're a silly little thing that worships
celebrity fools.

More Than This

There must be more than this.
An empty existence whehere everythings amiss.
Senseless violence strikes out with an empty fist.
Holding no useful things, to hate they cling.
Everyone out for number one.
Only caring about themselves.
Never there to help anyone else.
Unless they'll get something in return.
A narssacistic selfishness that deeply burns.
Ever on the world does turn.
There must be more to life than this.
The pursuit of money, this image we kiss.
We worship only this.
The goodness of the world away we've pissed.
There truly must be more than this.
A better life on which we've missed.
Helping eachother through the mist.
Through the fear and pain and vanity lain.
To find their way and make a better day.
There must be more that we can do.

Another Year

Another year has passed.
Things are finally looking up at last.
I'm twenty-five and still alive.
Suprisingly I feel alright.
Holding my loved ones near and tight.
The one I hold dearest gives me light.
Through all my life I knew it right.

Long days have passed since I came last.
Many happy days here in this cast.
A loving family with freinds present and in the past.
Most of them I still love, they're a smash.
Although from time to time we clash.
A faithful journey with falls a plenty.
They can't beat me because God has kept me.
I'll keep fighting to find my meaning.

Another year I know I'm dear.
To all of those who gave me cheer.
Some things are close with who I've chose.

Haven't A Clue

I haven't a clue of what to do.
Even though I know it's true.
Anxiety fills my body through.
The thought of rejection makes me blue.

Although the thought of success pushes me to.
Should I take the chance to find romance?
Or should I just pull back from this uncertain dance?
I want it bad. I'm going mad.
If you reject me I'll feel sad.

I haven't a clue of where to go.
The coming of it seems so slow.
Massive impatience inside me grows.
Despair and hoplessness greatly flow.

If it's time how will I know?
I haven't a clue of what to say.
All the answers come in shades of gray.
I can't continue in this awful play.

Another Day

Another day has passed.
Perhaps tommorow I can relax.
Lifes pressures build.
To the point I want to kill.
I cannot stand this daily bilge.
All I want is to get my fill of peace and quiet, and people nill.
Another day, another dissapointment.
I'm sick of waiting like I need an appointment.
This existence is so dull.
On my pud all day I pull.
Dealing with the jerks who run the world.

Another day, another dime.
Christ when will I ever have the time?
To sit and think and have a drink.
To kiss my love on the cheek.
Another day I'm madder still.
I hate them for the ways they kill.
My self respect and dignity.
With no remorse they stay their course.

Out Of Place

I feel so out of place.
Stiking out like a sore thumb in this space.
i don't belong, I feel so wrong.
When I come to share my song.
I feel so naked and exposed.
In a shambles and no where near composed.
In this midst of people with the looks they throw.
Looking down upon me such contempt that grows.
They think me not good enough to be among the rows.
Of the truly righteous beauties.
I guess that's how it goes.
When you're just a lowly man with looks that really blow.
There's really no place you can go.
To be apart and give your heart.
Never given a chance to start.
You're out of place in every race.
Bound to live in lonley days.
Cold and distant from the gaze.
Of tender love which you crave.
Or feeling the warm embrace in which security does lay.

It's Hard

It's a hard life.
Full of endless hopeless blithe.
It feels like you can never get it right.
Trying so hard to find the light.
All you get is darkness spite.
Constant rejection, you'll never reach the heights.
Of loving hope.
Always made to feel a dope.
Your attempts to try are seen as jokes.
You keep trudging through this witches brew.
It only seems to make you blue.
It is so hard what can you do?
At least you can say your love is true.
You're fighting for the greatest law.
Willing to take on the greatest job.
Willing to share your life,
and not be a self centered slob.
It is so hard to face their sneers.
When you only wish to hold them dear.

Electricity

Feel the electricity in the air.
It strips me bare.
Embracing that which is so rare.
Enjoy this time that you are spare.
There is so little do you dare?
In this space your heart does race.
With the lights and music pounding in your face.
You feel the rush in disco rate.
Faster now the music pounds.
Electricity in the air surrounds.
We shed our troubles on the floor.
Knowing nothing of rich or poor.
Out here equal to the core.
Electricity through your body pours.
I dig this beat it's really sweet.
In this pulsing we both meet.
Sucking off the electric treat.
Our hair on end.
Electric shocks we send.
Our motivations we don't defend.

Beautiful Days

Beautiful days in precious space.
It breaks the tiredness of my malaise.
Clears my head to navigate the maze.
Of my life and endless days.

The sun shines forth.
It brings me warmth.
In my soul I feel the hope.
Knowing that I'll beat the dopes.
Who dash my dreams,
and try to hang me with shortened rope.
With them I won't bother life's too short.

A beautiful day in Julys' great play.
The breeze is blowing my fears away.
I see the pond and hope is strong.
The beauty here is deep and long.

In my heart I sing a song.
It helps me know I'll defeat the wrong.
