Running On Empty

My heart is bereft.
All the feeling now has left.
I no longer matter,
I am no longer human.
An empty vessel broken,
can't even hold a morcel.

I am running on empty,
a run of the mill sociopath.
I've hurt my best freind,
I'm rotten and lack class.

I always hoped to have her as my wife.
We could have children,
and a glorious life.
She was the best.
So much higher than the rest.
I screwed it up.

I am an empty shell.

Brand New Start

An apology so sincere.
It now makes things so very clear.
To finally have it is quite queer.

I never expected to have these words so dear.
I take it gladly to the heart.
It gives us both a brand new start.

To be true freinds that never part.
Fighting for eachother with strength and smarts.
With genuine affection that builds our hearts.

I gladly accept.
The pain is spent.
Let's build the bond we've kept.

Make it strong with this redempt.
Never thinking of relent.
It feels so good to hear these words.
This gracious apology opens up so many worlds.

Death And Destruction

I see it on the news.
Death and destruction forever cruise.
When big egos are slightly bruised.
They strike out like youthful fools.
Breaking all the decent rules.
Killing people in such pointless duels.
To show that they're the conquering force.
Sweeping through those they find coarse.
Showing all that they're the best.
Never giving us any rest.
They keep fighting amongst themselves.
Dragging us along for their defense.
We're puppets in their silly games.
They feel no pity and have no shame.
They rule supreme to win the game.
Of who's the biggest man it's lame.
Forever it will be the same.
Destruction rules and death is played.
Unless someone comes and saves the day.
Then we'll finally see the way.

Goodbye

Goodbye my love
I wish you well
I wish that had not gone to hell
I love you dear
I love you so
Why am I such a useless fool?

I need you near
I need you now
I cannot stand that I have fouled
what was so pure so clean and profound
It's at an end
where go I now?

I'll love you till the end of time
Can you forgive me for my crime?
Don't forget the love I have
It's the truest love a man has felt.

I am no use

Lonliness Is An Option

Loneliness is an option.
One we all often choose.
Running away from what is good.
In the end you only lose.
Afraid of closeness and true love.
This option turns you to a slave.
Bitterness, heartache, hell incarnate.
Never sharing of yourself.
From fear of losing what you love.
Instead alone you will remain.
Choosing your own form of pain.
You want to love.
You want to give.
You're too scared of what you fear.
So this is the option you have choosen.
Alone without your true love spoken.
Loneliness is an option.
It leaves your life incomplete and barren.
Wishing all the time you could share your tender loving careing.
You're afraid, who's to blame?

Anonomouys Girl

Anonoymus girl.
You're so beautiful so discreet,
such passion and attitude.
How could you ever love someone like me?
A freak so shy and unobtrussive,
you'll never think of me.
You look right past and through me,
never a twinge of recognition in your beautiful eyes.
It twists my heart as in a vice.
You're so full of spice!
I watch you as you laugh and hold him.
I would give anything for a moment of your time and affection.
I cry myself to sleep thinking of you
and all the beautiful things I could share with you.
I ask God for a reprive but none comes.
I'll love you forever anonoymus girl.
I hope you'll attend my funeral,
realizing all that you missed, but I doubt it.
So farewell anonoymus girl,
for now if you truly dread.

The Land

A gentle hand guides us through this land.
That holds such bounties and such tragic ends.
Take this hand and you'll find a joy, gloriously grand.
Ignore it though and you'll end up buried in the sand.
There are many glories in this story.
Although at times it seems quite horrid.
At least we can say it's never boring.
Many pratfalls are in your way.
Take this hand you'll rule the day.
Never feeling skies of gray.
Unless you wander the other way.
Then blackness strikes and bleakness spikes.
Tortured by such ghastly likes.
Cannot be imagined in their heights.
Depravity, misery and savage spite.
Eat you up you'll feel no light.
So take this hand to guide you through the land.
You need it to be strengthened for the plan.
It leads you to rewards so grand.

Catastrophe

Catastrophe strikes.
Blinding us all alike.
Suffering and misery burst from the dyche.
What must we do to stop this blithe?
It hinders and harms all that's right.
We new found courage we must smite.
The catastrophic event that holds such bite.
Pushing back against the tide.
That swallows us with ghostly pride.
The strong are willing to go forth and try.
While the weak just sit and die.
We must fight this sickly crime.
Or we'll parish in due time.
Losing to this catastrophic slime.
It eats you whole in it's slowly maddening hold.
The truth about it must be told.
So pick up now where pride has layed.
We'll now defeat the catastrophic phase.
Beating back the deep malaise.
Our strong convictions will amaze.

Sorry

I'm so sorry I'm not better.
God knows I wish I looked much better.
I'm sorry I'm not more interesting.
If I were, I'm sure you'd find that in your heart you'd be more kind.
I'm sorry I'm not what you need.
From inside it makes me bleed.
I've tried to make you see
that for true love you could do no better than me.
I'm truly sorry you don't agree.
From all these feelings I want to flee.
I'm so sorry I'm so strange.
I truly wish I weren't deranged.
At the snap of fingers I would change.
For your love backwards I would bend.
I'm sorry for who I am.
My whole life is such a sham.
Ever since I began,
I knew I would never be a man.
I'm sorry you were in my plan.
When it comes to loving me you never can.

The Letter

Your letter arrived today.
I read through it with complete dismay.
For now I know that we'll never be together at the end of the day.
The door is shut all hope is gone.
I must find a different way to carry on.
Your letter sealed what I feared many years.
You do not hold me dear,
through my heart a poisned spear.
Now alls inside is spite and fear.
A cold patch of icy disdain.
Where once upon a time supreme amounts of love had lain.

So now it's time we part and take our own ways.
To save our lives to fight another day.
Your letter cut with the deepest scorn,
but from this treachery a new life is born.

Take heed my love a feel the day.
The futures ahead and for what we fare we must not dread.
Your letter sealed all that we had,
