When luck decides to touch your soul
When someone gives you a hand to hold
An angel in disguise, knocks at your door
I'll be your friend and even more...
Dont feel remorse or let darkness engulf
We can never find answers to the above
I can promise you I'll be your friend
I 'll share your sorrows till the end
So let me help you cope with grief
With time you'll find some relief
May your sorrows all be gone
May you find peace and carry on...
May God give you the strength to bear

Land of Dreams
Oh my darling, can I call you so
You enlighten my spirits as you go
You have touched the core of my heart
And I would never want to ever part
To grow and nature a happy life
One has to do it with his wife
We may act like kids at times
That's O.K., it'll just be fine
So let me frolic like a child
I will then drive you all so wild
In bed like lover do
Making out just me and you
I'll be your Cleopatra
So bathe me well
Milk bath bubble bath till I swell
Life is so beautiful just it seems

Mumma and daddy, now that you are gone
I sit here weeping till it's dawn
I cry each night and wake up in a fright
All I see you is dressed is white
My heart sinks when I recall
That you do not exist at all
You have gone so far away
Leaving me behind to this day
In my dreams I often see
That you are always near by me
I miss you so much to this day
Heaven is the place where you now lay
I see the angels in heaven above
Showering their blessings and much love

Watch out for people who come to you
Saying that they have married someone new
To bring someone from seven seas across
They dramatize as if they have someone lost
You take pity and grant them so
To live on this land of opportunity and more
But what an opportunity a girl will get
All she comes to the States and forgets
Her own identity and what she is worth
In the hands of men who treat her like dirt
If only INS could do something
And reject visas to comprehend this
Maybe they will save lives of many

A place so perfect for Romance :)
I get butterflies…don't know why.
Let my imagination take me high.
Never have I met you… then what is wrong?
With me and my illusions...you can't go wrong.
So pack your bags and come with me
To a place where we should be-
Where sea gulls fly and mermaids dance
A place so perfect for romance:
An island where the moon shines bright.
We'll dip and dance all through the night
And catch the waves and ride the tide
Where dolphins swim, and play and hide.
The stars will gleam and colors enhance
Of what our lives should bring by chance.

My Hope Diamond
Formulated in rough surroundings
A piece of coal that fights the storms
This is a story of a precious diamond,
Neglected and left to wither on...
I was once a diamond, tears fall as I cry
They now look like raindrops falling from the sky
We gave each other a diamond, till death do us part
Now the snow glistens like diamond, in wasteland of my heart
Buried in my closet, at times I see you there
Now just a memory as now it's lost its glare
Yet I am hopeful, for another will take its place
I hope it's the Hope Diamond where I'll find solace :)

Circle of Friends (Dedicated to my days of flying with Emirates Airlines :)
Miles away I began a journey
This indeed was to make some money
Left my dwellings and love a far
To reach to the top I am here at last
My mission so strong and expectations high
Now my home is a place up in the sky
I for see the world as a challenge to me
Encountering new faces as places I see
Some I find shrewd some smart
But what lies deep within their hearts
Naming them as friends as we all do so
Makes our lives miserable and we cry bitterly low
But this is how it begins and end

Saawan Tu Baras Ja (A poem written in Urdu)
Mosam hai aashiqana, saawan tu baras ja
Iss pyar kay mosam mai yun mujh ko na tarpa
Ye ghata-een aur mast faza-een
Geetoon ki sargam, aaj mujh ko suna-een
Baarish ka shor kisa, hawa-een chelayn zoor
Dil terpay tujh sey milnay, ouur jayeen meray hosh
Wo beeghay badan ki kushbo, basi jo saa-so mai
Kisey lagi ye aag, aa ja tu ba-hoon mai
Tarpa na mujh ko itna, mosam ka maza le
Do char din ki zindagi, pyar tu kar ley
Tujhay dekhnay ko aksar, teelay pe jaoo mai
Baarish ki boond peray, aur guon-guo-naoon mai
Aagan mai peray joolay, pyal ki chankar
Saa-say na thami meri, karoon tera intizar

Holding the strings of vibes
We dance to the string of life...
Dance with me my handsome
Dance with me through the night
Dance with your arms around me
Holding me... Oh... so tight
Dance with me to the music
It's all about rhythm and beat
Just you and me together
Will sweat out the heat
Dance with me to a Salsa, under a starry night
Dance with me to the music, looking into my eyes
Let our lips tango to the rhythm of the beat
Just me and you together, slowly moving our feet
