Cyber Friends
Cyber Friends come chit chat with me
What a barrier, none can see
Send a message, sit and wait
Cursor blinks, at a constant pace
Have no inhibition, open up your heart
You may find someone here at last.
May be not Brad Pitt or Angelina I say.
But what if you get lucky and have George Clooney your way....
Walk the red carpet, or cheer the crowd
Drink to your heart, be merry and loud
What have you to loose, nothing I say
Dream your wildest dreams every day......

Crying In The Rain
The night it was pouring
I sat by my bed
Hoping to find answers
That grew in my head
I looked out through the window
And nothing could I see
Besides the rain that poured
And brought misery
Lost in my thoughts
I searched for some clues
What was I thinking
As tears fell through
So many questions came to my mind
From past to present...none could I find
So I stepped out in the rain where none could see me cry
Besides thunder and lightening that would come and go by.....

A word of trust
How I remember your presence with me
Those memories are now haunting me
The room so empty and none I find
Why did you leave me so far behind?
I no longer remain to sweep the floor
And collect the trash you left at the door

Life is like a wrapped gift
Happiness engulfs as Christmas is here
Have no fear to end this year
For New Year shall bring glad tidings and more
And Santa will come knocking at your door
Leaving you with gifts, many a surprise
So hope for the best, you may win a prize
Go play the numbers, or do as you please
The New Year shall bring much happiness indeed
Open up your heart and cherish each day
Frolic like a child, dance or play
Life is like a wrapped gift…all unknown

Passion and Lust
Last night I dreamt of you my dear
Opened a can and drank some beer
We laughed and talked the night away
The beer got us drunk, and we went astray....
You swiftly kissed me and looked in my eyes
I melted with desire, as you touched my thighs...
Pulling me close and hugging me tight
Then gently reaching to turn off the lights....
It was such a magical night indeed
As darkness prevailed, our minds could read
The passion and lust enormously grew
We were making out just me and you...

My brain is a recorder
It stores all black and white
Each time I write a poem
It throws a different light
It makes the reader happy
At times it makes him sad
The love of poetry
And the poems that I have
Words pour like fountain
Imagination takes its place
On a journey to knowledge
Poetry we must embrace
Poetry is my refuge
And keeps me on the path
Expressions take new meaning
And words pour out at last.
Poetry is a song that sings to the soul

An Artist
An artist paints with brush so old
Makes his painting worth gold
He paints the nature's gifted gifts
The flowing rivers in the midst
Of all he paints is a pretty face
A girl dressed all in lace
Portraying her beauty he is lost in time
The beauty she possessed is hard to find
Was it her beauty he tried to captivate?
But what a pity time doesn't wait
For she has gone so far away
Leaving her image with the artist to stay
Who paints her all through day and night?

Music
May I begin with music
It soothes my heart and mind
Surrounding me with melody
I feel lost in time
The melody so sweet
The inspiration high
With just a few notes
As the music goes by
Music can touch our lives
And bring about the rain
Music is a healer,
That can alleviate the pain
Music is for any emotion
That can fill your mind
With happiness or in sorrow
In music you can find
Whatever you are feeling
Let the music embrace
Let the pain run right through you
And the tears run down your face

Plenty of Fish
Neptune the God of the seas
Symbolizes the dissolution of reality
For all earth arises from the ocean
Unless there is some commonality
Swimming in the waters that run deep
Where plenty of fish can be found
It symbolizes emotions…
Like snow falling and melting down
Our feelings are flowing as they connect
To the present with the past
The water runs so deep…
Who will you find here at last?
Reality is just a shared illusion
Yet we all need to survive
Sometimes it is a struggle…

Past is gone and present today
I recall the events of yesterday
Time sways but future awaits
Of unexpected tidings and joyous dates
So always hope and aim for the best
No doubt you will make up with the rest
