The Landscape of Your Body
I took the time out tonight to memorize the landscape of your body.
I viewed every inch with a secret sullen passion.
I took my time, intoxicated by the lingering scents of soap and skin.
I have enjoyed many things in life,
Yet to lay by you, to press myself against your lips, to feel and develop this burning passion between two willing persons content with such beautiful lonely hopeless devotion.
I can go on this journey now,
Content in the light of love.
