Your repetitious death
Of course someone who only writes about
Dark, death, sorrow and pain
At this point has no idea of
And therefore will feel no emotion or gain
From humor, relation, joy or inspiration
Only seeing the destruction of creation
And death to be the only way out
Of any situation of his hearts elation
Sulking in the rain of his own red shower
Expiring every hour on the hour

Close your eyes and wait
I have recently discovered
Beauty is in kindness
Due in part to my recent
And gradual blindness
And, as a visually inspired poet
I have found the deeper meaning of
words, and how you present
Appearance and physical beauty
I do not resent
But, when compared to inner beauty
It is irrelevant
So, next time you see an attractive face
Close your eyes and wait…
See their inner beauty first
Before, you are blinded by fate

Within The Mist Is Fire
Inspired by your inspiration
An inspiration I inspire
Through the ashes,
RISES...
A red phoenix, on fire
A mothers nature, Is to nurture
A poets words, will paint a picture
The path of my people
Diverged while unfostered
Left to the winds to recapture
The ways of my people
I preserve with great care
Like the phoenix
I rise from the ashes
The flame in my heart
The four winds in my hair
Like the phoenix

The Stage is Set
This whirlwind romance
has lasted through
the years and all the sex
we’ve had,
Between the imagery
of our thoughts
Converged
by the seductive poetry, And,
by-the-way, you’re always great
Even for a minute
when we escaped
Among the verses and stanzas
And the proverbial path twists
Searching every square inch
Ever blind in the mist
Slowly rounding curves
Softly, whispering lips
Reciting visions of you
unforgettably

Lethal love
When you say
I love you
with your insincerity
It breaks my heart
cracks open my chest cavity
I am standing here preaching
my own elegy
Impending doom is
what your love brings
Inevitably,
Incredibly,
I was blind
sided by your sexuality
The whole while
you
were just using me
Deceiving me
Twisting my mind

This Lovely Mess
Sympathetic kiss
Indecipherable, twisted
Scorched chocolate fist,
Desires attempting futility
A dripping hollow dream
Anathema found you
in the mirror, tears clenched
drowning within its frame
The end, it would seem...
Apparent misery, your duality
Not my reflection! you insist
Somehow perception, distorted
Clouded by a tearful mist
Nothing more can you do
soul completely drenched
Life will never be the same
