The Fog Rolls In

The fog rolls in
covering the moist earth
and
hiding the world

Hazy and beautiful
Haunting and sad

How so much like the world
of the broken hearted

The world in its beauty
is stilled by its presence
coming over the hills
consuming everything
completely
then gradually fading away
