How does a man quench the thirst for the women he loves?
He buys chocolate.
He sits by a park.
Closes his eyes and imagines what once was.
Lips entwined.
Thoughts entangled.
A heart broken and lives untangled.

He can feel the moistness
The softness of her lips.
He can imagine holding her
Her contour, her shape, her hips.
How long can he hold on to these memories?

Those eyes, that would peer into his soul.
Have closed and won't open, no more.
No words of comfort.
No sweet hello's, to great him,
when he awakens, from her embrace.

Families destroyed, screams of pain.
visions from hell, keep me insane.
eyelids stitched open, I lay awake
What have we done for heavens sake.

Satan knows my name for sure.
Sins to pay, on the list to burn I am.
committed against the soul,
committed against man.

Baby doll heads, wooden toys
Smoldering with ashes
Remnants of innocence amongst human waste.
Remnants of evil of men with no taste.

Amongst these monsters I hide my mind.
I hide the feelings that bind human kind.

In a caged existence so I am

salty drops of painful tears
rolling on small rosy cheeks
looking up at her mom
as she walks away
crying for her mommy
to please stay.

a destiny suddenly defamed
when she spoke to her dad
about the plan her mom had
there was no one to blame
she was betrayed
by her own name.

a plan once in place
would of moved her life
to a land of freedom and grace.
just ninety miles away
a path she would never retrace.

I am lost and confused
I don't know what to do.

Despair grips at me with
its tenacious claws
It rips and tears
It even mauls.

Sloshing me from the side
grinding me between its teeth
with no timeout for air
with no time for relief

Hidden from the world
are my true feelings of despair
I wear a suit that bears a shield
and a cape that flops everywhere
