Suicide Receipt
This is what suicide feels like
With the pills in my body and
A broken heart
I know why he had to get away
And I understand it, well,
No
Make him come back
Make him stay
The IV in my wrist
To make my decision go away
Maybe I'm not strong enough
To see it through
Just a temporary high
And he's gone
With my fake suicide

Poem For Someone
The same kind of things that make me wonder why
Are the same ones that make all the sense in the world
My friends think I'm crazy for remembering you
And for keeping the dream alive
I could be your Cinderella
You could be my Prince Charming
In my mind we're meant to be
I remember you like a fantasy
So maybe it wouldn't be so bad
If I never saw your face again
For it would mean that I'd forever remember you
As the boy who never broke my heart
I'd hate to think that things wouldn't fit
I want to remember you perfect

Someone Kill The Romantic In Me
someone kill the romantic in me
slash the flirt and smother the optimist
and the person who believes
the best in everyone
the girl who still believes
you may come around
one of these days
and if you really cared
you'd do something better than nothing
if you really cared
you'd do everything to win me back
but you don't care
you don't care
someone kill the romantic in me
break out without the sweet nothings
and maybe i'll stop being
that girl who misses you
would give anything

Sad Promises That You Said
i thought i felt your arms cup around me
but it was just the soft embrace
of my favorite stuffed animal
you laid some inches away
and the physical contact
and all the promises were at a minimal
you told me that you loved me
then you deceived me
told me that you wanted me
then you avoided me
your distance was cute
but now it's annoying
with all the sad promises that you said
i thought i saw a light at the top of the hill
but it was just the long road
leading down to despair
and what seemed delighting some 8 weeks ago
words from your mouth
and you're no longer aware
