Adieu?

It’s time to say adieu, friend
It’s time to part our ways
It may not be final goodbye yet
We might see each other again, who knows, somewhere.

All the shared moments with you
All those laughter and tears we together had had
All the sorrows and relief we experienced
Will never be forgotten, I promise.

I’ll always remember you as one good friend
A friend who’s always patient and kind
A friend who’s there to reach out to and lend a hand
A friend so dear, who needs me and whom I need as much.

Peace - Anybody?

There is a peace talk held today
The land's future is being decided
Everyone must keep his cool
Or all will end in a disastrous coup.

Why is peace so elusive?
Do we really have to triple our effort
For something that must come naturally?
Everyone, I know, needs it.

Why does peace have its price?
Why do we bargain? Why make deals?
Is it a commodity only simple men can afford?
Or is it non-existent after all?

Strange how things work out
For peace, someone must die
For peace, people have to fight - ironical!
Peace we crave and peace there's none.

Pa And Ma, A Tribute

For all the things you’ve done
To make those words have very precious meanings
For the thousand and one ways you’ve shown
All the sweet things in life
We’d like to thank you Pa and Ma
For being special… so special indeed.

All through our lives you are there
To share with our triumphs and defeats,
Laughter and tears, hopes and despair,
For being there when we needed you most
When we yearn for someone to understand us
When we seek for a shoulder to cry on
For simply being there when life turns upside-down
Thank you so much, Ma and Pa
For giving us the courage and inspiration to go on.
