Love is so short and forgetting is so long
It’s hard to forget the one to whom you belong
You are no longer an us but a you
You are now a one, not a two.
Love is so short but memories last forever
Remembering the promise of being together forever
Tears cannot bring your loved one back
For they will only subside until you crack.
Love is so short but feelings will remain
Nothing can be done to ease your heart’s pain
You yearn for one more hug or a perfect last kiss,
For it is something that you truly miss.
Love is so short and moving on is so hard
A love so deep leaves you forever scarred
A wish for holding your lover one more day
Anything you can do to take the pain away.

Too Late
I see you there across the room
I never thought I’d see you too soon.
Remember when I wanted you but,
You were too cool and just kept shut.
Why are you walking over to me?
Why is it now that you see
That I’m alive and look a bit different
Instead before when your heart was absent.
You get closer and it’s like a wave
I can’t breathe, I sweat, it’s you I crave
Why do you still get me, its been years
I remember the times and all those tears.
I remember how I wanted you

You lead me on and broke my heart

Questions
Will you be there when my world falls apart?
Will you be there to catch the crumbling of my broken heart?
Does the world keep turning when I’m gone?
Can god hear me screaming when I’m alone?
Can you die from a broken heart?
I’ll soon find out, because I’m falling apart
What happened to my days of sunshine?
The days when I thought everything was fine.
Does anyone care, about little old me
I think death is the only thing to set me free
I feel helpless and hopeless in a world I don’t understand
Why won’t anyone reach out and give me a hand
All the bad things that happen do I deserve?
God knows all the bad things, nothing’s on reserve
Does god hold wrong things I do against me?

I Believe
I believe that the sun shines after the rain
I believe if you don't get hurt you'll never gain
I believe in not doing things the easy way
I believe that being selfish doesn’t pay
I believe in a second chance
I believe in a life long romance
I believe there is life after death
And standing up to a life of mess
I believe in love at first sight
I believe that revenge isn’t right
I believe that first impressions last
And there is nothing better then a good laugh

Sally's Goodbye
Sally got up early to find what she could wear,
Then brushed her teeth and combed her hair.
She wasn’t going outside to play,
For today was a very special day.
Sally put on her favourite dress and matching headband,
In her favourite colour she looked so beautiful, just as planned.
‘Are you ready? ’ her daddy said
‘Yes Daddy I am, I’m just making my bed.’
She held her Daddy’s hand as they walked to the car
For she knew someone was watching from afar
They got in the car and drove away
Looking at the white clouds, with a touch of grey.
Everyone was there to give her a hug and kiss
She knew it was a day that no one would miss
In her matching headband and blue dress
As she walked through the doors she said god bless.
