Oh River....

Oh river oh river, flowing on your own route
Not willing to perturb, so surging with less toot

Is the giant ocean your destination?
Oh! You are definitely a paradigm of determination

Flowing steadily and slowly in leisure
Collecting all the available treasure

Merging with the friendly rivers too
Towards the ocean you all go

Do you all have any get together in the ocean?
With an extraordinary collation?

Writer's gift

The flow of ink in the writer’s pen
The flow of thoughts in the writer’s mind
A golden thread joining the sweet words
An enduring garland fresh with thoughts
A precious gem, worthier than gold
An epic in itself, the writer’s gift
No word is spoken, yet the tale is told
His mind speaks, his heart speaks
He blows life in each of his creation
The verses breath, the verses speak
The writer dies, yet the verses live

Lost in you

With solid tears and frozen fears
I stood in solitude, feeling no pain
Chilled breeze and icy storm
Penetrated my soul, but I was still strong
Winter passed, spring came
But I was still there, feeling the same
Then it was the summer and you came
Melting in your warm glance and sweet smile
Melting in your placid touch and tender kiss
I was lost
Initially lost
Partially lost
Then completely lost
Lost in you

The snowman melted by the sun…

Lotus-the sovereign of flowers

Lotus the sovereign of flowers
A conspicuous blossom radiating bliss
Is brought up in the sluggish marsh
Adapts to the circumstances and stands as a winner
Gets the warmth from the compassionate sun
Transforms from the bud into a stunning flower
Unites with the cronies, they form a crew
Each flower competing to get its share
The competition is healthy, they live in accord
Dewdrops that symbolizes sorrow
Touches the leaves but does not sway the flower's grit
An icon of determination, a tutor of life

A peaceful united world

Drops of blood scattered everywhere
When would we be liberated from this nightmare?
If you have sympathy and you do care
Then pray for peace and put in your share

Deadly weapons, perilous missiles and lethal gun
Miserable cries, pathetic corpses and suffering human
It is a serious matter, Please do not shun
What's the point if by such means a battle is won?

Brotherhood is vanishing, act before it is too late
Join hands with me and try to win the fate
Eradicate the evil and throw away the hate
Make a peaceful united world and be each other's mate

The school of life

God is the mentor, we the protégé
In this school of life
Most valuable of all degrees
Most toughest of all exams
Knowledge grows through self experience
Failure makes us strong
God conducts innumerous tests
To test our tolerance and make us better
The course duration varies
But time is trifling
The achievements are vital
When you complete your course
And depart from this school
The number of hearts you touched
Is your real degree
The number of people you enthused
Is your real marks
The number of souls remembering you
Is your true success in this exam

In nature's lap

It was a lovely day
I found myself in nature's lap
Surrounded by the 5 elements of nature
There was the blue sky above me
There was the chilled river on one side
There was a small camp fire lit on the other side
There was the vast earth below me
And a cool breeze was blowing from all sides
As if nature was protecting me
I had become the nature's child
There was no perturbing noise to distract the tranquility
I felt I had become one among the nature
My whole soul was at peace
Free of all stresses of the human life
Oh what a lovely expedition it was....

Alien planet

It was a fresh dazzling day
I gradually openened my eyes
I was in a strange place
That I had not seen before

So much serenity, so much charm
That I had not encountered before
Crystal clear water, milky mountains
Such tasty fruits, the place pollution free

No hatred, no crime, no war and no corruption
The aliens live in a total peace
With much helping tendency, they all live united
My mind and heart were at tranquility
It was a pleasurable experience

Suddenly the vision began to vanish
I was once again back on earth
Seeing a programme on my television
About the life in the other planets

Ocean of memory

I dived inside the ocean of memory
And went deeper and deeper
Everything around me went still
My life began to rewind

Flashing images from my past
The sorrows and the pains
The joy and the gains
I wanted some moments to stay for ever
And some to disappear fast

My whole life came before my eyes
Then everything became blank
I was still, everything around me became dynamic
I slowly returned back to the present

The ocean of memory is so vast
As life goes on, it grows bigger
I do make many voyages
Some so enthralling

Am amorous night

An amorous night with you on my side
Walking on the seashore hand in hand
Engraving our love in the sand
The footprint fades, the milky foam engrosses
Touches million souls, echoing the tale
Silent glances exchange, no word is uttered
But everything is said, everything is understood
An enthralling conversation that could create an epic
The tides etches the saga, in the rocks
Softening the rocks, it sheds tears of joy
The breeze plays a mellow tune
Silent whispers magically sing
Moon the silent spectator, admirably acknowledges
And in this ardent vista, two souls merge slowly
And slowly they becomes one
