Your singing a beautiful tune
But it is over too soon
I need to hear more
Your singing, I adore
Up until today
I was drowned with dismay

Strumming The Strings Of My Heart
I watch you play,
Making a beautiful tune
The strings of the guitar shaking
As you sit in the light of the moon
Your plucking the strings
With great ease
Making a flowing melody
A pretty song, just for me
I continue to watch
You playing your guitar
Making me love you
While your strumming the strings of my heart
These strings will never be touched
By anyone but you
You go where no one else can
Leaving a mark, like a tattoo,

I'm looking at you,
Watching you sleep
The most beautiful thing
It makes me weep
It may be midnight
And it may be dark
But I have a bright sun
Leaving me a permanent mark
My midnight sun
My sun in the middle of night
Lighting up my world
Making my life bright

You bright up my day
Without you, my life would be dull

The Snow
See the snow
Its a blanket, soft and white
Falling slow
Covering the world, making it bright
Hear the snow
Crunching underneath feet
Children throw
The snow in the street
Smell the snow
The freshening scent
As the steady flow
Makes my heart content
Feel the snow

As the blanket starts to grow

Is a whole new world for us

A place we can call home
