Unexpected Places
Sometimes people become their perceptions
Failing to see beyond their conceptions
Belittling others who do not fit their idea of perfection
Making perceived weaknesses in others, apparent.
A good reason to burst out of
Narrow, cerebral constrictions
To the largesse, ‘pump’ and pageantry
Of the heart’s constitution.
So others can grow a little, live a little
Finding strengths, so latent
In unexpected places.

Reel Life Belief
When you can see your destination
When you can picture what you want for yourself
Vividly, every scene or still
Every footage becoming your life montage
You do not give into procrastination
As later ends up being never.
So keep the mental camera rolling
You will have the determination
To make reel life into real life
Forgo unwanted distractions
And bring your dreams to fruition.
Sometimes you just got to believe harder.

A Punch In The Heart
A punch in the heart
From the start
He bought her part
In herself, in society.
He took years off her life, returning pain in rife
Can she ever tell him, 'How can I ever return your kindness? '
If she ever did, it would be something short of madness.
Perhaps it is in the gifts he did not give.
It is deduced, in as many languages as the French state-
'au revoir' means goodbye
And he left no massacre, a moment shy of her cry.

Corporate Runway
On the corporate runway
Projects take-off
Tasks are ticked away
Deals land
With perfect timing and strategy.
Fly between the mountains of competitive giants
Forecast change and steer direction
Make presentations reach their destinations
Enhance and upgrade your fleet
For full customer satisfaction within budget constraints
Commandeer and create a lasting impression
Map out the golden route to profitability
For historic sustainability
Corporate pilot now and for the next generation.

Right Next To You
It is not the purest, the holiest- that matters
To God.
To Him, what he carries
Make the most of their circumstances
Their resources
To just be part of good.
That is all God wants
A kind ear
A sympathetic nod
A toothless smile
A helping hand
A caring heart
Or just a mere bead
of wisdom.
For He cares that
You nourish and strengthen
What you humbly have
Awareness and comprehension

The Lucky Penny
There was a boy
Who did not have a penny to his name
Pushed and shoved around
He had to fight to stand on the very ground
He walked on.
Yet he didn’t dream of bread and butter
He starved to achieve something better
Like a beacon, his eyes shone
His heart he wore, like a crest
And drummed his fingers to create
His very own beat
He reached in and found the lucky penny
That many others
Lose sight of, grappling, to emerge victorious in the human heats.
With this penny clenched in his soul
He could go further
Pole to pole.

An Inch More, To The Mango
An outburst of life, indiscriminately.
Discreetly
a seed is held
and never let go
by the soil.
Grow, growing and grown
A tree now stands on its own
Fruiting.
Plush leaves hide
A golden tide
Loved by an even tempered sun
Winds softly push
At its being.
From a hardy, hand-sized seed
Arises, an invitation of nature
Plucked, it is held in hand
Admired, it is cut

Heaven is a space in the heart
He could see
He could sense
He could desire
Compassion.
He came for love
Finding those deserving-
tell me, why does an angel suffer?
Was God really too high above?
With the stomach of immortalism, the Supreme intellect precedes action
'Cowards die a thousand deaths but the valiant taste of death, but once'- Shakespeare.

A Child's Ache
Sunlight streamed into my eyes
Out of the warm dwelling place- the womb
Into breath of the human lamb
A child.
A mind of purity and innocence
A heart of wonderment
A soul of love.
The standards we set as a child
Surprises us when we are adults
We demand lots of loving attention
We are little judges who cry
when things are done wrong
We can understand God
and that we can do anything.
So does growing up, mean,
discovering ourselves as limiting?
We little heart people
With faith inspired ideas

A Rubric On Belief, Chance And Change
The highest brick wall you will have to scale
Is the one you place before your trail
This world is filled with chance and opportunity
It is up to you, to look and see
Do not feel held back, by false perceptions and beliefs
Reality just is; you will find to your relief.
Pluck up the courage, you never know a ‘yes’ may be waiting around the corner
Worry not if life does not go on perfectly, don’t shut out the world, and become a loner
You will be the greater, if you own up to your mistakes
It will change your fate
The beauty of people is that you can change their hearts, win their minds
Today, a brick wall of animosity
Tomorrow, a brick of humanity.
