Love is brighter than before

Day and Age

I wake up an Australian kid
I get out of bed like an 10 year old kid

I slug to the mirror like a teenaged click
I look up to see my 20’s kicks

I walk out to the car in a midlife crises
As I drive by, my old age rises

As I slowly stop for retirement blues
I look up and find my funerals’ due

Clarkson

I grew up in a middle class life
With seven to the family I call mine
Working to help my family to stay on top
Caring for myself is second rate

I’ve got a girl as well
I know I’m going to call this one wife
And I’m going to give her everything she wants
So I’m learning and earning
Crossing my ‘T’s and trying to dot my ‘I’s
So I can make something of myself

While those flashy things are just distractions
I’ll turn around and make a better man of me
Rolling up my sleeves and working infinity
So my family has everything
And I know I wont give up on my show

Recaped Needle

Once again I have fallen into temptation
A sterling silver siring piercing my barrier
With a powder filled pallet and bottle half drunk
A breathless night awaits tonight

The stater of this self torture heaven
Was a tempest with the one I call home
After she truly revelled the paths she takes
What I have done was finally uncovered

I love her more than the life I live
She was my hero and my saviour
But she turned to the path that I have followed
And I will not forgive myself for what I did

So I’ve picked up a floor based needle
An used it in a poisonous lust
But when I look at the silvery silver tip
It has blood that’s is not mine
