Give Me Light

Tried walking in the dark,
but it didn't work.
Stomped my toe
and began to shreik.

Tried working in the dark,
but that's taboo.
could barely see
what I needed to do.

Tried reading in the dark,
but it didn't feel right,
the tiny flashlight
was such a fight.

So, enough of the dark,
just give me light.

The PC

Television's been around so long
but then the internet came along
and has virtually taken its place.
There's no contest in such race.

Even children are savvy on line,
as sometimes I am slow with mine.
They know more than I ever will,
But I'll just keep trying still.

Let's hear it for the PC!
Yeeeaaaaaahhhhh! ! !
