Dont run Mr. Runner
Dont run Mr. runner,
there'll be no place to go..
take time to see the pretty things;
you have to take it slow.
You're running fast,
you didnt see the laughters all along.
I know you hardly noticed
as my heart has played the song.
Dont run away, you'll only see
you'll go back from the start.
No, dont run mr. runner...
coz you're trapped inside my heart.

Your Name
The night whispers your name
till you passed by on my dreams.
The wind blew a little harder
till my covers felt a little colder
when the wind whispers your name-
and darkness revealed your shadow
as you passed by on my dreams.
The night found the rain again
as darkness revealed your shadow.
There's a crying whisper in the rain...
a crying whisper of your name.

For Him
I love him that never loved me
till love turned to drifting wind in my dream.
I weep for him that never wept for me
till tears became cold snows in my dream.
I write a million words for him that lie -
till words were just a wasted dream...
written only to die.
I loved and failed... wept and fainted;
wrote and wasted; but I'll never die
for him that never lived for me.

Heartbeat
Empty, dull, lifeless.
I heard my heartbeat through your footsteps
thumping loudly into life
as you get closer and closer.
But that was not the end of it
as that was not the start...
my heartbeat's dying
as you walked away farther and farther.
And when you're gone,
there was a beat no more.
And that was the end of it,
as it was from the start...
empty, dull, lifeless.

Tell Me That Love Returns
Tell me that love returns
to break the silent waves of pain;
those large imperious waves of pain
in the vast ocean of sorrow.
Tell me that love returns
to catch the falling stars;
those bright imperious sparks of stars
withing the vast sky of sorrow.
Tell me that love returns
to mend this broken heart;
this shattered, broken, wounded heart
in the vast soul of sorrow.

Chevalier d'industrie
One night,
one blissful night...
you crept inside my soul;
you stole my heart and went away
so far
that when the sun shone bright that day,
I cried just to find you
to take my heart
again.
I wept
with bitter tears...
praying where to find you
just to take my heart back again
because
my heart does not belong to you.
It belongs to the man
who slept with me
that night.

To Rest in Peace
I feel more like a corpse pretending to live;
yet even death could not promise peace
by not having you.
Even death could not guarantee rest
to my broken heart that's pretending
to beat for you.
I am in that dark abyss again,
pretending to see.
Yet what's in there for me?
Nothing but nothing again.
What else could be grasped in the darkness?
Just but a silhouette of you.

Painting Jealousy
Her lips spell his name...
her cheeks, his smile.
Her tender glance reflects his soul,
as though his shadow made her whole.
I tried to paint her silent lips
till it clamored out his name.
And when I tried to sketch her cheeks...
I saw his smile, it's all the same.
Yet when I tried to paint her eyes,
in my canvas it's his face.
And so I stopped painting her,
and stopped loving her as well.

I Danced My Life Away
I saw the faces of the moon...
the yawns of the stars at night.
The moon is wilder every minute
as I danced my life away.
I saw the last rays of the fallen sun
dying into a dance...dying as they fade.
The rain dropped slowly and dreams gather
as I danced my life away.
I saw as days turn to empty nights...
the beauty of the water as it sparkles.
But i never saw you-
so I danced my life away.

Drunken Dancers
Their painted cheeks shone like dazzling suns...
their faces flushed and red.
Lustrous eyes flashing seductive glances,
one had seen herself in bed.
One had seen herself in darkness,
and another with some man.
One had seen herself so restless,
dancing on till all is gone.
They all but dance for hunger
of the flesh and of the soul.
They all but drank for courage
that tomorrow they'd forget it all.
